This morning was the first time in years that a woman was clearly checking me out.

Mind you, it was in line at Walmart and she looked like Rosie O'Donnell's ugly sister, but still...

I feel ya. I live in the country but went to the city two weekends ago. millions of people, literally. montreal jazz fest. I'm not saying mega chicks were checking me out but, I did get a few of those "interested" looks and I shrugged them off, No way they were looking at me.

I'm absolutely oblivious to when women check me out. Even when a female friend is like "That girl is checking you out." I still don't believe it.

Literally every woman ages 18-40 (and maybe some really attractive ones in their 40s) checks me out and imagines having intercourse with me. Its a huge burden.

Do you ever wonder about how sports stats would look if you could filter by "Only Games I Attended / Watched"? Like I bet Alex Rod is the leader in HRs I've seen, which is a bit weird. Wins is probably Pettitte. Goals is probably still Adam Graves given recent roster turnover and the long gap I had before getting the NHL Center Ice pass and then moving, but Nash is likely already top 5. And what players that I clearly remember from the 80s did I never actually see play a single game but only read about and had baseball cards of?

This is meaningless but completely consuming my brain.

Somewhat similarly, I wonder what are the cumulative records of the teams in games I've attended. I have a friend in my San Jose Sharks' hockey ticket group whose wife no longer attends games with him, because she had an amazing streak where they lost every time she attended, but won every time her husband went with somebody else. She thinks she jinxes them.

Emmitt Smith definitely leads my viewing in Career Rushing Yards, considering A) I've only lived in the metro areas of his NFC East rivals, and B) the Cowboys were constantly on tv, on primetime, in the playoffs, and every Thanksgiving.

ETA: That's actually pretty stupid of me. I looked on his Pro Football Reference page, and he put up 2466 against Philly, over 2400 against Washington, and over 2000 against the Giants. So let's say I saw every game against the Eagles except for my years in college (93-96 NFL seasons) and Law School (00-03 Seasons), where I would have seen them against the Giants, along with any time Philly was playing Dallas nationally, along with other national games and the playoffs. 4K career rushing yards might not be out of the question, though. He's definitely the most yards rushing for a non-local player, but most likely behind Westbrook, Shady, and probably Barber.

Most rushes of getting less than four yards, though. That's definitely Rodney Hampton. If I was told Rodney Hampton never ran for more than 6 yards in a single carry I would totally believe it. God it sucked watching Giants and Jets games in the mid-90s.

The Tigers lost the first 11 straight games I attended at Comerica Park. Of course, they were pretty grim in that era, so that's maybe not too surprising. Being at the 2006 ALCS walkoff made up for all of those though.

I keep the ticket stub ot every game I have gone to so it wouldn't be too hard to figure out the records of games I've been too. Sounds like a fun project while I watch the Open this weekend.

I didn't go to any games in 2003, and few the next two years, so I was spared. You were among the few, the brave, the close relatives of Gene Kingsale.

But I was there, deep along the left-field line in the upper deck, standing with my rally cap on, when Ordonez's homer soared past and insanity erupted for the next 30 minutes or so. My companion was 8 years old; as perhaps the cutest game attendee, she received around a thousand high-fives as we made our way out of Comerica. When her hand got sore, I told her to stick it in her pocket -- otherwise everyone she saw was going to give her skin. People were even running up the inclined walk-ways, celebrating with those going down.

It wasn't like '84 in that nothing was burning and the police cars remained upright. Buses retained their engines. But it was pretty wild for a baseball game.

Mariano Rivera's usage rate would be awful. My Yankees games tended to be big wins or losses. And I had a huge streak of seeing backup Rangers goalies, especially when Valiquette owned the Flyers.

Despite then being the away team, Ryne Sandberg or Mark Grace would probably lead in home runs. Each year we'd go to Riverfront and I would always want to go when it was the cubs because those were the two teams I loved the most growing up and it seemed like one of them hit a home run every time. And Andre Dawson never did, nor dave parker.

I saw Alan Iverson absolutely destroy a putrid Raptors team. He must have had 30 points by the end of the third, many steals, assists, he was just on fire.

And even though the 76ers were up huge the whole way through, he must have played 42 minutes or more.

Impressed the hell out of me.

In the four years Gary Redus was on the Reds I saw him hit at least 5 home runs (we went to 3 or 4 games at Riverfront every summer). He had a total of 31 as a Red so that has the be one of the highest percentage of production of any player I've watched live.
