One of the monkees.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.
Re: Worthy of mention, too obscure for own thread
Peter Tork. Kind of unfair imho how The Monkees got slagged for not playing their own instruments on their recordings, given that we we’ve since learned that The Wrecking Crew played on most pop recordings of that era.

Katherine Helmond.
Otherwise known (by old people) as Jessica Tate.
Edit to add: Holy shit, I'm older now than she was when Soap finished its run.

Maybe my weirdest crush (not super weird really, but still) when I was a kid. I honestly didn't realize she was still alive.

That's where I first saw her, but I think Soap when I think of her. That's probably because I watched the entire series over Memorial Day 1994.The Sybian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2019 2:11 pmOr Mona from Who's the Boss for the rest of us.Steve of phpBB wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2019 2:08 pm Katherine Helmond.

You had Alyssa Milano on screen but went for woman who would have been her step-grandmother?

Considering she is 4 years older than me, and her character was the same age as me, I'd say that was a healthy crush.bfj wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2019 6:12 pmHell yeah. Who doesn’t crush on a pre pubescent Alyssa Milano? Ay Oh Oh AyThe Sybian wrote: ↑Fri Mar 01, 2019 4:05 pm

Fair enough. I forget I’m older than some/most of you. Crush away.

I honestly thought Jan-Michael Vincent was the guy who died in the 80s after shooting himself with a prop gun with blanks? Is this one of those Mandela Effect things?

Re: Worthy of mention, too obscure for own thread
At least I'm not crazy. Though I somehow am constantly surprised to see people still acting that I thought were dead. (The most recent one was Stephen Dorff in True Detective S3 until I realized the person who died I was thinking of was Brad Renfro.)

I do remember that Jennifer O'Neil was part of the show - or a movie he had been in.
