Fuck. I still can’t figure out the formation. 5-2-3 with Adams at right back? More like 5-1-3 because Sands doesn’t count as a player right now. Just pointlessly milling around. He looks completely lost.

I was hoping the US could pull me through this season with Arsenal being complete shit. More of the same.

This is like Sampson's 1998 World Cup formation.

Fuck a formation these guys are full of bad touches. Pretty horrible all the way around. About to dig a hole here. Playing hard but it's shit. No possession. Missed links. No finishing.

Lleget or Roldan would be a huge improvement. Acosta and Sands are never going to generate offense. A ceiling of zero from the midfield. WTF is he thinking?

A throw from the goalie is our most creative, dangerous play all game.

Berhalter out! I wish we lost Nations League and group stage of Copa Oro so we could have Bruce Arena back.

Probably doesn’t help having a bunch of guys who’ve never played together playing out of position in a bullshit formation asking guys to play roles they aren’t capable of. And almost all of them are really young. But, I’m not a national team coach with a ton of experience playing for the USMNT, so I’m not as smart as 3G.

Woke up the missus with my reaction to that colossal header. She asked me what time it was and I said 9:45. Will have to wait until morning if she was caught up in my nefarious web. Cup ties with a goal is pretty sweet.

thank effin' deity for Pepi. What a fucking second half.

We have a striker. And he's 18. Might be enough to overcome 3G.

Final 10 minutes are just what the doctor ordered in terms of putting the game away score-wise. Wish they would have maintained a little more possession rather than lumping it up field, but that didn’t hurt them none. Nice win on the road after the home let-down to the Canucks. Hope is restored to some degree.

And on goal difference lay 3rd now after three games. HAD to have that. Everything feels better now. Pepi's arrival fills a HUGE hole on this team.
