Generally agree though I believe Woods is a pretty big star at a local level.

Ha ha. Yeah, it's terrible to see all the injuries, but I think it's silly to blame the lack of preseason. As said above, starters hardly play in those farcical games. College has never had a preseason (unless you count the top teams' first games, against no-hope opponents.)

Does anybody think the Jets played a little dirty against the 49ers? I know there isn't really any reason to suspect it.

Practically every NFL coach/coordinator is an asshole in some capacity, but I would love to see the Jets go 0-16 so Gase and Williams never work again.

Well, the Broncos have now lost their best defensive player, their best offensive player, and their QB. So, it’s nice knowing I won’t have to expend any energy thinking they might have a chance to do something this season.

A couple years ago, when Hue Jackson got canned, I was suggesting to a couple Browns fans that neither Williams or Todd Haley get the interim coaching spot because whichever one did not get the gig was going to be a massive problem the rest of the season.

So, hiring Freddie Kitchens may have been a smart move... in one very, very specific way.

I’ve been away too long. The first page of this thread and I’ve lolled several times already. I definitely needed that. I’m dealing with the aftermath of the hurricane in LA (it’s always been my job dealing with disasters) and along with everything else in this fucked up world it’s nice to laugh again.
