Maybe Milwaukee will only negotiate with Houston (secretly) and you can get him for Van Vleet and a 1st?

Nico Harrison isn't walking through that door.

Two tough ref decisions at the very end of games last night. I think the Lakers got screwed with that review and subsequent foul on LeBron. Sure, he got some wrist, but a lot of hand-on-the-ball too and I just don't like making calls like that only via review.

The Pistons got even more screwed by the no-call at the end. That was a clear foul. They might have still lost - I think they would have had to hit all three free throws - but that was a shitty way to end the game.

They just needed two to win. But agree that it was an awful call.

The funniest shit on Twitter today are posts by Lakers fans saying the NBA rigged the game. Yes, the NBA would love to put a team in the next round from Minneapolis with a very reluctant superstar over a team from LA with LeBron and Luka. I can only assume they were not alive in 2002 when the Kings got screwed so bad by the refs that entire game 6.

Hart's foul on the 3 never happens if they properly call Harris for the arm-bar on Hart seconds earlier. If both could be reviewed, both would have been called.

The Rockets being down 2 at the end of the first after that start is borderline miraculous. I thought I was going to be in bed by now.

Evergreen thought, but fuck Draymond Green with a chainsaw.

God he is such a fucking bitch. If he’s not ejected after this, he must give the best head any NBA referee has ever received.

Like obviously Draymond is a shit, but it’s funny to watch a superfan of the team that employs Shit 1A get indignant.

The difference is Dillon Brooks actually gets called for it and doesn’t act like a victim about it. Nor is he awarded for his “hustle” by the league.

If Dillon Brooks had intentionally kicked a Warrior in the back of the head after pulling that player down by his shorts with one technical foul already do you think he would be allowed on the court in the second half?

I don’t know shit but maybe should have gotten the Nova bros back into the game with more than 27 seconds left?

Gregg Popovich is no longer the head coach of the Spurs, but is taking the role of team president.

Plus-minus is not a great stat, but it did provide this gem.

Last night, the Nuggets dropped Game 6 to the Clippers, 111-105. Due to the six-point margin, the Nuggets were a collective -30 in plus-minus.

Michael Porter Jr. alone was -24.

Cunningham might have been (or will eventually be) the best player in that series, but there's no way Detroit should have been able to hang with the Knicks. Thibs is a great coach, but not a great fit for a team centered around Brunson/KAT and it really seems like he's taken this roster as far as it can go. If they don't fluke a win over Boston, I hope its brutal enough to force a change.

I saw it when he was -21; everyone else was single digits...I can barely wrap my head around how that's even possible.

Right, plus/minus (in any sport) only really works as a relative-to-teammate stat. Which always brings me back to the 2014-15 Rangers team that was +48 at evens but had Tanner Glass at -12. Across the entire roster, there were five -1s and the corpse of Ryan Malone at -4 in 6 games which means Tanner Glass was 3 more worse than the entire rest of the roster combined.

Rick Nash: +29
Derek Stepan: +26
Chris Kreider: +24
Kevin Klein: +24
Ryan McDonagh: +23
Carl Hagelin: +18
Dan Boyle: +18
Marc Staal: +18
Mats Zuccarello: +17
Matt Hunwick: +17
Kevin Hayes: +15
Martin St. Louis: +12
Dan Girardi: +12
Derick Brassard: +9
Lee Stempniak: +7
John Moore: +7
Keith Yandle: +6
Dominic Moore: +5
J.T. Miller: +5
Anthony Duclair: +4
Mike Kostka: +1
Dylan McIlrath: 0
Oscar Lindberg: 0
Chris Summers: 0
Jesper Fast: -1
Chris Mueller: -1
James Sheppard: -1
Conor Allen: -1
Ryan Bourque: -1
Ryan Malone: -4
Tanner Glass: -12

Seems like mortgaging a decade worth of draft picks and swaps SHOULD yield a better result than struggling to eliminate a team that won 15 games last year.

As for the Pistons I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re players to acquire Zion Williamson. I don’t know if that’s a good idea or not but they do likely need another piece to pair with Cade and they probably wouldn’t be getting it in the draft e even if they had their first this year.

But they’re clear of the Stepien Rule now so business may be open.

Draymond should have been ejected with not one, but two flagrant fouls to Jalen Green’s head and neck area just three minutes into the game. One of them a non-basketball swipe. Just a flagrant one so he can continue bitching all game long with zero consequences. I don’t get why he has gotten away with this shit for so many years.
