Presumably logistical analysis would only be required in cases beyond the standard issue of two, eh? Significant polyorchidism is, so I've heard, innocuous enough.

You ought to be able to get at least 50 pages out of that, Johnnie.
Not from a married dude, I won't.

And I shutter to think what he'd tell me about reverse logistics.

Just call UPS and speak to them for 20-25 pages worth of time

Or, as it is known in Latin America, "Syndrome de Tres Huevos".

I beleive weatherman is a law talking guy. If not, it's always a good guess.

I thought he was a teacher? But for the sake of continuity, let's assume "Jewish".

Was is the key word. I'm pretty sure I remember him mentioning graduating law school. Then again, my memory is shot these days.

I work for a big logistics and trucking company, although my own function is not related to those operations. I can probably connect you with somebody, Johnnie. I'll pm you.

Staubach is also in the biz. I've discussed it with him in the past.

Try reading Mary Roach's stiff. I think a human liver would be a nice, absorbent material. I hear they are impaling stray dogs in Sochi to use as mops, but they aren't corpses. Yet.

Does it have to be the entire corpse, or just a portion? Because it's not for nothing that they call us "nature's plumbers".

I don't care what some of you think.

The Beatles was a great band, rather synergistic, but still great. Innovators.

I've been in the market for a new bed so finally pulled the trigger over the weekend. I wanted memory foam and I tried a couple models and didn't notice a difference, so I went with one off Amazon. I'm a little nervous, but at the same time, the deal I was able to get there vs. anywhere else swayed me. I guess we'll find out after I sleep tomorrow.

We got a memory foam off Amazon a few months ago. It was dirt cheap. I like it a lot, but it was a little too firm for the missus. We bought a softer memory foam topper to make it palatable for both of us. The price can't be beat, IMO.

We also bought a foam mattress pad too, but I can't find it on my Amazon orders. Maybe the wife picked it up at Target?

8 inch! You were going for the... firmness. (I know full well about that sentence)

I'm excited for tonight. I guess this is the sign you're an adult -- that you spend your days being excited about mattress purchases.

I love the memory foam - pillows too.

But after our 5 days without power back around Christmas, lying down felt like being in a sleeping bag on an ice rink. It took a while for it to regain it's foaminess.

In the Air Force (and presumably the rest of the military) there are flat screen TVs in nearly every squadron building used for the sole purpose of sitting on the wall and playing slides from a connected laptop -- or not even being turned on at all. (In my office there are two flatscreen TVs. One to do each of those things. I have been in that office for 6 months and one TV hasn't even been turned on.)

And this is a noticeable phenomenon too. Everyone seems to chuckle at the latest 55 inch TV that's there for show. But it's a waste of money.

What better way to shame/make fun of this than to create a Tumblr/Instagram page? I bet that shit would go viral. But would it lead to any sort of change or just get me in trouble? I figure the latter.

I am so sick of all the Beatles crap.

50 years since they came to America and changed the world forever!

I'd say that it's been 43 years since they released any music, but somehow there's an audience for a fifth remastering of "Octopus' Garden," otherwise the music wouldn't have been repackaged in so, so many ways.

At the big bookstore yesterday, I counted 14 books about the Beatles sitting in the main display area. Who knows how many other books were on the shelves.

Best boy band evolution ever. Took us from the Bill Haley through psychedelia, first band in my mind that not only was the popular "you gotta hear this!" as well as the being so damn awesome "you gotta hear this!" Influenced/opened the door for countless other artists.

I'd take a remastering of anything the Beatles released over anything on the current top 40.

I suppose that I would too, but the deification of these guys really grates on the nerves.

But then again, this is a world where people will spend $250 to see the Eagles or the Who in concert.

Bronto - I think with a few tweaks to your broad jump form, you can definitely catch Tyler Bray.

Nicely done, Stan!

Yeah, you gotta get a little lower on that broad jump and stretch out more on the landing. You could have gone farther.

I've never tried one of those vertical jump thingies. I wonder what my old legs can still do. How does it work for the initial measurement? Is it as high as you can reach flat-footed or on your toes?

Great idea for a report, Bronto. And well done.

I tried something similar about 15-years ago when I was back home in Nova Scotia for Christmas. Not on video or anything like that. A good friend of mine that I grew up with used to be an assistant coach for the QMJHL team in my hometown and we took a (rather casual) shot at the strength and endurance testing that was set up for the Junior players to practice on in the arena. First or second season for that Junior team. Very much the same sort of test that the NHL prospects went through at the time. I don't remember that I even completed it; the bench press reps test and I did NOT get along well. The whole series of fifteen tests or so is WAY harder than it looks and it looks excruciating. But I was very successful in the sense that I got through as much as I did without dying of cardiac arrest right on the spot.

These days, most of us would measure our vertical in Mickelsons. Yeah, when I was a kid I had about a nine-Mickelson vertical... probably down to a two or three-Mickelson these days.

I think my vertical has probably shrunk into the 26" range these days. I can still hang on a rim but putting a ball through one is a thing of the past.

I wish I had taped myself while I could still do it.

You're probably still getting up higher than most of us. Or far higher. I used to be able to easily get my wrists above the rim. Today? I probably couldn't get up enough to touch the net unless it was a particularly longish net.

Yeah, same with me. No video evidence of my dunking days ever existed.

I can still grab a rim if I'm warmed up, but I usually pull the hell out of my forearm when I do it, so now I just sort of tap the rim.

But then, I'm a one-leg jumper. I doubt I could touch a rim from straight underneath with no steps.
