I think I found a glitch in the Matrix. Almost exactly a year apart, my daughter scored against the same team. Even more weird that they switched colors.

I know of Marshall Sutcliffe because of Magic the Gathering, but the dude has a channel called Wristwatch Revival where he repairs and reconditions wristwatches and it's kinda fascinating. Plus he's awesome on the play by play.

No doubt, horrendous decision making and even worse execution by the goalie, and she clearly didn't learn from the first mistake. Scrubbiest goals of her career and she got lucky to get away with a terrible first touch on both. As a kid, I scored the majority of my goals tapping in rebounds and finishing wide shots across the goal mouth, so I appreciate the cheap ones. Drives me nuts that her team doesn't follow shots nearly enough.

That was surprisingly entertaining. I know nothing about watches, but all the tiny precision parts and the specialty tools were really cool.

Apparently this is one of those threads I don't read all the time and the plane video brings up a question I've wondered but don't think I've ever asked What are the ethics of a small plane like that landing on a highway? If it goes right, its probably the only chance for no one to get hurt, but if it goes wrong it risks taking out more people than would otherwise be affected.

I'll have to ask my cousin. He's a pilot that most certainly went through that at some point in his formal training.

I feel like I recall that when Eisenhower was promoting the National highway system he required one straight mile of highway for every five miles of road so planes can make emergency landings/takeoffs.

If you're landing a single-engine plane, you're basically going highway speed anyway. So it shouldn't be too hard for people to get out of the way.

Props to the clerk for acting quickly. Loved seeing him start swinging away as the police office is holding the guy. Hope the Judge is ok, she didn't pop up and people were yelling for someone to call 911, but none of the officers seemed overly concerned with her.
