Seattle up 2-0 in the first half against LA but the Galaxy are just an away goal away from advancing.
I think this will swing back and forth throughout the night as the game can no longer go to extra time.
That game blew....
As the MenInBlazers always say, football will break your heart...
yeah it sucks for the Sounders, that's two years now they won the home leg 2-1 but it wasn't enough.
But that atmosphere was incredible.
Kung Fu movies are like porn. There's 1 on 1, then 2 on 1, then a group scene..

2nd year in a row that Sigi's playoff tactics sucked balls. They only "won" 1/4 of their playoff games. If I was a Flounder fan I'd be pissed. I'm comfortable knowing that his tenure will continue.
Yup DVR'd the game, added some time in case it went to PKs and went to media blackout....yup DVR cut off as the ball was going across midfield on Keane's goal. Pretty good game. Some tough hard tackles and a bit of back and forth.

I've wanted to get into MLS, but I've never had a team to root for. The idea of just picking a team at random for some reason is completely foreign to me. If Detroit or Las Vegas ever got a team it would be a no-brainer. I've already put in a season ticket request for the Las Vegas group (if they get it, obviously).
Someone needs to explain interleague loaning to me. NYCFC traded a player outright to Red Bull for a one year goalie loan. Is that right? NYCFC gets the benefit of the year of a better goalie than they'd otherwise acquire and Red Bull gets a permanent (lesser?) player and makes sure their goalie gets work?

You got it. (Intraleague loans aren't really that common. I think last year was the first year they were allowed and then there were only like 2.)
Las Vegas city council approves soccer-specific stadium for downtown Las Vegas contingent on receiving an MLS expansion team. (By the narrowest of margins -- a 4-3 vote for a council that usually votes unanimously on everything.)
Franchise would be owned by Findlay Sports and Entertainment, an off-shoot of a huge car dealership chain in Las Vegas. Stadium would cost $200M ($50M public money) and seat 24,000 with partially covered roof and climate control system to keep temps around 80 degrees during summer months. (Most indoor stadia are about 72 degrees.)

Add that to DC approving the stadium financing for the DC United stadium on Buzzard point. Good day for Garber. DC's deal is $150M from the city with a target opening date in the middle of 2017. 20 to 25K seating with room/plan for expansion in the future. No soon had the vote happened when DC's ownership started talking about practice facilities.
It will be interesting to see what DC does with RFK. Danny boy has said he is interested in returning the team from PG county. I think another owner would have a better shot at getting something done.
Gotta think this tilts the final expansion team towards Las Vegas over Sacto and Minneapolis, neither of which have a SSS locked up I believe. Add to that MLS getting a chance to plant its flag in a huge media market without a major pro sports team and the buzz involved there and I have to think it's a realistic shot at this point.
ETA: I guess Sacramento has a 10,000 seater they're talking about converting into 20-25K seats, but that still pales in comparison to Las Vegas' bid. One other underrated factor in Las Vegas factor when the comment is made about LV not having a minor league team is that TV ratings for MLS and USMNT games are usually among the highest in the country. TV ratings doesn't always translate into butts in seats, but it isn't meaningless either.
