I would wager that 24 minutes is the longest stretch between punches thrown in this movie.

Kelly Lynch sucks in this movie so much. I will not debate this. Tonight will be the first time in a long time where I have watched this without changing the channel when she is on screen, unless Sam Elliott was also on screen.

I feel like this scene is somehow ripped off from The Untouchables in a way.

I take it back. It's definitely ripped off. Shows us just how much of a bad guy we're dealing with here.

O'Connor never bled in the fight with Dalton, but his blazer was covered in Dalton's blood, so he's a bleeder.

Sometimes people are in charge just because there's in charge. There's a question. If Brad Wesley was a Southern football coach, which Southern football coach would he be?

I'd say Tommy Tuberville.

Is there a plot point I'm missing, or does state/federal law enforcement not exist in this movie? Wesley owns the dipshit local cops, so can't do anything about it.

So true story here. Until Roadhouse I swear to Christ I thought Sam Elliott was dead. I don't know where or how I got that idea, but I was legit shocked to see him in the movie, like seeing someone come back from the dead (this is fairly pre-Internet). To this day when I see him in a new project I'm still a little surprised, so consistent and strong was my faith he was dead.
