Watt to Steelers

That Rams DL would be hilarious if he went there. If I were Watt, that's where I'd go. The NFC looks weaker than the AFC and he'd make up in endorsements whatever he gives in salary.

Some have theorized Green Bay due to proximity to Chicago, where his wife, Kealia Ohai Watt, plays in the NWSL.

Others have theorized (mostly my son) that he will end up joining Watson on the Jets.

Meyer is a great coach, but you have to question his physical ability to deal with the stress, which is considerably higher in the NFL. Most big-time college coaches get to have some semblance of a life even during the season, but that's not true at the NFL level. Trevor Lawrence or not, that's going to be a decent sized rebuilding job also.
Because it is. He's going to fail miserably and it will be glorious.
Things going very smoothly so far, eh?

We should probably get a pool going on the health issue that will cause him to step away sometime in the 2022 season.

I’m sure he’ll also suddenly feel the need to spend some more time with his family.

If both of those players are on the Jets, I’ll (happily) buy a jersey.

Don't buy a Jets' shirt.

Your IQ will immediately drop 40 points.

Urban Meyer's offense is straight out of 2004 and I'll bet that it fails spectacularly by that alone.

Jets, Browns, and Raiders are three teams I wouldn't mind jumping ship to if Watt goes there. Why not? It'd be fun to follow a brand new (to me) dysfunctional franchise.

I feel like deciding to become a Jets fan in your 40s is like deciding to take up cigarettes for the heck of it at 40. I feel like I committed a form of child abuse by turning my son into a Jets fan.

A Lion fan shouldn't be talking shit about any other team, but I don't think becoming a Jets, Browns or Raiders fan is especially wise. Then again, I'm not sure what other team I'd feel remotely comfortable rooting for either. Would almost have to be an expansion team in some city I liked. I couldn't even get on board with casually rooting for the Raiders in Vegas.

Considering I was expecting them to cut him, I'm pleased with that haul.

Now they can look at the #6 to take a QB if one looks like a keeper, or just take a BPA, suck again for a year, and then have another crack at it in '22 with hopefully two 1s.

As the resident Dolts fan. Early reaction is I don't hate this.

Colts options were: Jacoby Brissett, Jacob Eason, or go get someone. Would have blown my brains out had we given up the haul that got Stafford. Absolutely no way Houston trades DeShaun in the division. So you gotta have someone. Wentz is at least a proven NFL level QB with ties to the coaching staff. I'm cool with it and anyone who isn't can show me a better alternative. Reminds me of when people scream "you gotta fire the coach!" and you ask them ok, who do we replace them with and they go uhhhhhh anyone! This is at least a plan.

I mean it sets up to be pretty hilarious when the 5-7 Colts bench Wentz the rest of the year to save a first rounder. I'm sure he'll take that well.

The colts have an offensive line, as well, which helps.

I had a bet the Eagles wouldn't get a 1st for Wentz which is now carrying over into the year and said the same thing.

Benched at 5-7 rather than try to sneak in"

I mean we went 11-5 without our staring running back and the husk of Phil Rivers last year, but sure. I’m fine losing the first.

I would never post a picture of his injury - the one that made me scream like a 5 year old - but you have got to be kidding me.

He won 1 game last year (I know the defence was CFL level, but still...)
