A bore 0-0 draw and we are up 5 at the World Cup Break. Rass and Pruitt do appear to have made their squads, but DiS did miss out with injury. Here are some main stats for the team so far:

Goals:

Turd - 18
Citgo - 9
Sybian - 6
Chedda, Pentagonz, Sabo - 3
MisterD - 2
Five Tied - 1

Assissts:

Pentagonz - 8
Sybian - 6
MisterD - 5
Rass - 4
PDX, Giff - 3
Rush, Pruitt - 2
Seven Tied - 1

MisterD has 3 Man of the Match Awards. Five have 2.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

I've long said voted-on awards are the best judge of a player's contributions.

Is the mobile/iPad version worth it (2D, looks like less leagues and nations) or should I go for the mac?

Full version is better. I’ve been using the iPad version but it has limitations

Apparently the Mac version of Football Manager 2023 is available (free) for Apple Arcade subscribers. And apparently I'm a subscriber because of my Apple One subscription. However, the same does not hold true for the Football Manager edition for the iPad. That one costs $9.99.

I'm headed to Florida for a couple weeks to visit the folks (holidays got nixed cuz of COVID). I'm probably going to dick around with this on my laptop.

The videos you've been posing are the iPad version right?

Actually I am using the Apple Arcade version. I just thought it was same as iPad. I record the videos on my MacBook and upload to YouTube. Full version is through steam I think.

Yeah, maybe it is... the FM 2023 Touch is 3.6 gb and the FM 2023 Mobile for the iPad is 1.3 gb. The Steam version for Mac requires 7 gb to download it.

Anyone played Retro Goal on their phone or pad? It's fucking great. It's got a good mix of GM type activity and game play. It's nowhere near as involved as FM (even their app version, which is stripped down from the PC version). 10/10

Funny, I just started playing Retro Bowl this week. My son challenged me to play vs mode, and I needed to practice to get used to the weird passing controls. Get frequent ads for Retro Goal. Looks like Goal for Nintendo. Played that a lot as a kid, but it wasn't a great game.

My other friend is all about Retro Bowl. I don't have any time to play it now that I'm knee deep in Retro Goal.

Can you build “fuckknuckles” into the team bio as a fan-grown nickname that started in the 1920’s or something like that?

I think so with the full version. Much more customizable.
