Still pissed at the fates for Bradley getting hurt, really miss his leadership in these games, hope Beckerman is up to it in the middle.

Uneven start, to say the least. Gashed on wings already, shaky in back and missing in middle.

Fabian Johnson is horrible tonight. And someone needs to find Bedoya! He was wide open in the box twice now.

The US is the opposite of sharp tonight. Howard is the only player who looks like he has his head in the game. Maybe Landon and Eddie Johnson. I hate the strategy tonight. Looks like we are playing for the tie. Way too slow to make decisions and passes in the offensive third, looking slow and sloppy in defense and too content to knock the ball around in the middle of the field. I want to see them move quickly on the counter, Eddie made some great runs and nobody pulled the trigger on the pass. I'd like to see Mixx come off the bench and add some creativity going forward.

might be hard to push on every counter in 83 degree temps. heat looks like its taking a little bit of a toll on the match.

Eddie Johnson really resurrected his career from the ashes. A couple years ago, I never would have dreamed that he would even be considered for the USMNT again.

I kinda wish Dempsey would have missed the PK on purpose. Just put it 70 feet in the air or something.

Is anyone else rooting for Panama to win? Sure, we need to wait to qualify, but I'd love to see Panama nick the 4th spot from Mexico.

I want them to win. I want to see the clinch in person!

I don't think there's any doubt that Deuce missed intentionally to keep it at Dos a Cero.

Yeah, tie puts us through, but a Panama win really puts Mexico in a bad position. BTW, Mexico looks horrible. I don't think the US played particularly well tonight at all. I heard Twellman say that the US should sit deep behind the ball, as Mexico has no ability to break down a defense. Looks like Jurgen listened, and it proved true. Mexico didn't even look like they were trying in the second half. Crazy how far they have fallen since their dominance in the 2011 Gold Cup. I really thought the US was going into a bleak period and Mexico were going to be World Beaters.

I disagree, and i really hope a player isn't thinking about stupid shit like that during a game. I was half hoping he would miss, though. I really hope that is the end of Deuce taking penalties and the duty goes back to Landon.
