Three years in, still viable

It's the sixth version of The Swamp. What could possibly go wrong?

This just started happening to me. Could it be that I'm at the library using their wifi? If not, is there a fix?

This sounds like the 'bad Pico cookie' issue in our FAQs. Our developers haven't been able to resolve the issue, but deleting the browser's defector.com cookies seems to fix it on a semi-permanent basis. Would you mind trying that here? (The instructions to do so vary a bit by browser and device -- I'd be happy to point you in the right direction if you aren't sure how to do this.)...
This has worked for me so far. Thanks! Not sure why I didn't think to do that in the first place.sancarlos wrote: ↑Thu Oct 27, 2022 7:16 pm First off - when I got home, I logged in on my own wifi, and now the comments DO load.
And, to answer your question, I did reach out to them, and got back this answer:Defector wrote:...thanks for supporting Defector, and sorry for the hassle here.

My wife asked at some point what the rest area was like inside since it looked so nice outside. I said..."huh, never thought about it. Just got our picture and rolled on to the shore."rass wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2023 8:13 pm He got a whole article out of the place and all we got was a photo of NJ’s favorite Kentuckian.
Maybe we should have gone inside.

Its nicer than most in terms of layout and cleanliness but the food options suck. Like below "whatever, I'm hungry" level.A_B wrote: ↑Fri Feb 24, 2023 8:49 amMy wife asked at some point what the rest area was like inside since it looked so nice outside. Several of their writers had been tweeting about it for a few weeks. I sent an email into the void asking for a refund on my outstanding FO+ account.

That makeover has been enough for Aaron Schatz's FTN Almanac to project Cleveland as the third-best team in the AFC this season. Trust me, they’re as shocked by this as you are. When the numbers tell you the Browns are good, the numbers lie. That’s the power of Cleveland: It’s enough to make me distrust math in general.
ETA:Arizona has the climate of Iraq and none of the charm.
Richardson’s on-target rate ranked 106th out of 114 FBS quarterbacks. Anytime you have the opportunity to draft a prospect with the exact opposite skill-set and profile of Tom Brady, you have to do it. Congratulations Indianapolis, on your 34th starting QB doesn't know how to pass.
I pay for the commenter level, but that’s more to support the authors.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 3:38 pm So, who besides Bengal, DiS, and brian comment over there?
Same here. None of the three are under a screen name that hides their identity. Haven't seen Bengal write anything there recently, but I saw brian recycle a post from here yesterday, prompting my post.L-Jam3 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 7:15 pmI pay for the commenter level, but that’s more to support the authors.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Wed Aug 09, 2023 3:38 pm So, who besides Bengal, DiS, and brian comment over there?
I do have posting access still - but, man, I have never been quick or clever enough to really wade in. Occasionally dip my toe in. Hand out some +1s etc. That's about it.DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2023 8:04 amSame here. None of the three are under a screen name that hides their identity. I go to the site once a day in the mid-to-late afternoon. There has never been an appropriate time.tennbengal wrote: ↑Thu Aug 10, 2023 8:33 amI do have posting access still - but, man, I have never been quick or clever enough to really wade in. When I was 18 in 1991 season, I had my first serious girlfriend. She didn’t give a shit about football. So while that Lions team was grinding the embryo of the Jimmy Johnson Cowboys dynasty into a fine paste, I was not watching. I was doing boyfriend shit. What that shit was, I could not honestly tell you. We broke up a few weeks later.
The only Lions playoff win in the last 67 years and I missed it. I’ll be 50 when the 2023 season starts, and there’s definitely a non-zero chance that I will not only never see the Lions win a Super Bowl, I may very well never see them win a playoff game for the rest of my life.
Drew wouldn’t have looked, there.
