A certain high profile guest is visiting the town where I currently live for a fundraiser this week, too.

And now they're letting schools in town out early to try to alleviate traffic issues expected to develop during the visit by the high profile guest. A friend recommended the restaurant where this is all taking place 10+ years ago, but we never tried it. Been to the hot dog stand across the street plenty of times, though.

Was thinking about going.. but i wouldn't feel safe being in the same room with the most hated guy in the country. If our elementary schools aren't safe for our kids this week, how would a college campus be any different with Obama being present. I hope the President addresses school safety while he's here.

Yeah, I don't think I'm going to do it. I'd have to take a vacation day and I'd have to volunteer to work and she's quickly finding out that the White House pretty much takes the fuck over anyway. The only pro I can come up with at this point is that I wouldn't disappoint AB.
