Well there are a lot of people out already in Minneapolis. And businesses are boarding up. And there was a new video showing the other two officers kneeling on him as well, so just one might not be enough.

The issue between 3d degree and 2d degree is intent to actually kill, not premeditation. That's the human thing to think. I was ready to go down to the protest on the Strip today but decided against it because of concern about contracting COVID. It sucks to have to make that calculation but that's where we are.
Seems like this was a pile of years in the making. I bet she was abused at home. Good for her. I hope her and her family are safe.
Maybe. At the very least she's trying to disassociate herself and her family from him and not have her house burn down. People have been looking her up, her brother, her parents. The “boogaloo” is code for impending civil war or violent confrontation with law enforcement, and that’s what they’re hoping to get out of the protests. Their main reason for being there is their antipathy toward law enforcement, and so they’re trying to position themselves as allies of Black Lives Matter protesters. They’ve made police brutality one of their central issues, which was explored at length in a Bellingcat article this week.
