The Czechs have been a mess. They left a number of NHLers behind and the coach took his son-in-law.

I'm surprised they beat the Slovaks who just idn't show up.

The NHLPA must be hoping US and Canada both move on. Big TV Ratings and increased interest are the only hope that NHLers will be in PyeongChang. Owners don't like the Olympic break and player really like the tournament. With the Great 8 out and Canada 1-1 right now it could be bad news for pros in the games.

Loved it. I think I posted it. My girl Nadezhda was hilarious. Even through the language barrier, she totally got Colbert and played off of him brilliantly. She pulled off the sarcasm without cracking a smile. Brilliantly done, and I find her sexy as hell. Partially based on looks, great sense of humor, and her fearless, kickass attitude in fighting a tyrannical Bond Villain of a President.

That was illegal, how did the refs miss that? Can't grab the puck in your own goal crease, it's a penalty shot.

Didn't mean to indicate it wasn't, but trading a sure goal for (the possibility of) a penalty shot was a heads up play.

no doubt it was smart. I'd trade a sure goal for a penalty shot.
I also don't understand why there is such limited replay. While the ref is reviewing the goal he can easily see that he missed that call, but he can't do anything about it.

I have it on FoxSports2, so while it is in English, it is not in HD. Second game in a row I have to watch in SD. The difference shocked me. My wife constantly tapes stuff in SD, which drives me crazy, but TV shows aren't nearly as horrible as soccer in SD.

Ditto FiOS. I just searched "Champions League," otherwise I'd have no idea. I think FS1 is lumped with the sports channels, but I'm not even sure of that. Before Sunday's FA Cup game, I didn't even know there was a FS2.

My fear is that the Israeli team somehow makes the 2018 World Cup and the Cossacks burn down their hotel. Old habits seem to die hard in Mother Russia.

Biathlon had a mixed relay today, 2 girls and 2 guys.

I'm surprised that more sports in the Olympics don't do this. For example it would be cool in swimming or track.

just have 2 guys and 2 girls in the 4X100 metre relay.
