Jeebus! That’s scary for anyone with a loved one on the plane! Kind of unprofessional of the pilot to vent to the passengers instead of trying to calm them down. (And you just know the crew will get timed out shortly on their available hours).
It was scary, because I knew if didn't resist the urge to send the SNL clip, my marriage would end.
Thank God it worked out.
And that is hilarious!

Second flight landed without incident... although the guy sitting next to her (on both flights) was kind enough to tell her he was watching her since they were initially in the terminal and she reminds him of an actress. My wife couldn't remember, but he asked for her number to text pictures of the actress.

Even my daughter realized how pathetic that was. I'll take a look at the pictures and see if she looks like the actress.

Clayton had a weekly Saturday morning radio show here in Seattle. I used to think that he knew more about the NFL than anyone knew about anything else. Someone would call in with a question about the offensive line situation in Miami, and he would rattle off the entire depth chart, including contract situations. And he was really into funk music...all his bumpers were Earth, Wind, Fire or P-Funk or the like.
Hadn't heard anything about his health...he was being Covid careful because his wife was immunocompromised (I think she was a cancer survivor).

Foo Fighters drummer
Taylor Hawkins , 50.
One of my favorite youthful memories was seeing him and Dave Grohl dueling drums at a concert in the late '90s. Have tickets to see them again this summer for my first post-pandemic concert. I gotta imagine this is going to get canceled or postponed.

Tragic either way though.
