Watt is like the guy who beats you badly at a game complaining all the while about what a bad game he's having.

The part that I don't understand is that most teams choosing not to sign Kaepernick could easily fall back on a generic "his strengths/weaknesses do not mesh well with our offensive scheme" excuse. He is a player with significant flaws who had his greatest success in an uncommon offensive scheme. But, no, "distraction" and "our fans" are easier and better excuses.
He's simply not a very good quarterback.

And he's probably better than just about every backup in the league. Honest to God, I've got to get the NFL out of my bloodstream.

He threw 16 touchdowns and 4 picks and ran for 500 yards while surrounded by complete garbage. If he was an anonymous backup, teams wouldn't be lining up for that?

I am amazed at those stats, because the three or four times I saw him play he looked really bad.

But in a world where Mike Glennon gets a huge contract, the treatment of Kaepernick is simply sickening,

Surprised that Buffalo doesn't take a gander, he's got experience, could light a little fire on Taylor, and they'd not have to tweak the offense much if he was in.
Did you see that ludicrous display last night?

I'd be for that, but Kaepernick's first start last year was in Buffalo and it was a redneck fiesta that day.

http://buffalonews.com/2016/12/21/kaepe ... orst-city/
Kaepernick was asked what made Buffalo different.

"I think volume, what I heard, things that I saw after the fact as far as in the parking lot, T-shirts, all of those things," he said. "It was very evident that this was something they don’t agree with, which, to me, I don’t understand."

A group of Bills fans knelt during national anthem outside the stadium to show their support for the quarterback who was doing the same on the sideline, but they were a small minority of fans. T-shirts were for sale outside the stadium that featured Kaepernick's torso in the crosshairs of a rifle. Some fans put his jersey on a tackling dummy and repeatedly drove it to the ground.

I don't think he was nearly as good as those numbers.

But he's still so much better than Colt fuckin' McCoy.

All this discussion of his relative talent level... we all fucking know that the only issues are that management and ownership of NFL teams are A) not onboard with his politics, and B) hesitant to anger that segment of their supporters who aren't onboard with his politics.

But they won't say it bluntly.

I wish that a star white player would have visibly supported Kaepernick during a protest. Like, "an opposing player walk across the field and kneel with him" visibly supported.

They're not. And anyway, many people thought Reid was calling the shots, not Dorsey.

Seeing speculation that Jeff Fisher wants to coach again and that it will be for the Bears makes me want to...

Oh, fuck it, they're already fucked under Fox and have made me ambivalent.

So he wants to look this disheveled after 3 disappointing seasons that total .500 again? However you gotta get paid, I guess.

Da fuq

EDIT: He also took Jan Stenerud in the 4th. Justin Tucker is legitimately probably the greatest kicker ever followed by a lot of guys playing now and Fouts takes Jan Stenerud in the damn 4th round.

I did like LT as the #1 overall pick, assuming there's no drug testing or personal conduct policy in this hypothetical league. If so, I'd probably go with Reggie White.
