Had the same thought. You can make a living as a backup without the skills if you never play.
A couple of weeks ago, there was a thread about the worst QB performances ever.
This line in a playoff game - 16/28 for 82 yards with 2 picks and 4 sacks... well that's just heinous. he owes me $50 too.

I mean squares love to bet favorites anyway. If they really open that shit at 11 I don't see how it doesn't get bet up to 14

I think they'll get destroyed against a quality team. That did not look like a team that should have won a playoff game today, Ryan Lindley as the opposing QB or not.
Agree 100%.
And as horrible as Lindley was, factor in some of the worst punting you will ever see, and this game was gifted to the Panthers. Think the spread may nudge up from 11 points as well.

Newton actually might have a punchers chance against that GB defense. Seattle will destroy him though.

You've got opposite dilemnas. GB has a sucky defense but could cover by winning 40-30. Seattle will destroy him but might only win 17-7.

I just think it's more that Newton's style seems to really give GB problems. Meanwhile that Seattle D seems to play well against running QBs

I can't believe the Lions are actually in the playoffs. Badly hoping for a win but they've been so bad for so long the playoffs just feel like playing with house money.

With a loss, Lions tie the Chiefs for longest postseason losing streak. I need to complain about how terrible it is to be a Chiefs fan more often, apparently.

Upon getting a 1st on 3rd and 12, Buck states going into commercial: "That's vintage Tony Romo!"
No, Joe. Him fumbling under duress from a sack is vintage Tony Romo.

Karl Sweetan throwing a 99 yard bomb to Pat Studstill in '66. Now that was a drive.
But this 99 yard drive is a little bit better, as it's in January.

Lions toying with Cowboys now, like a cat with a mouse. First, giving them a touchdown so they don't stop trying and spoil the game. That's just good sportsmanship. Next, Tate messing around with the first down marker. That was a little too clever for the field officials to grasp, but of course the replay guys followed Tate's brilliance. Then, Stafford generously offering the Cowboys a chance to intercept that 2013 throwback toss in the direction of Calvin, covered by the entire defensive backfield plus a few random linebackers and a nose tackle. Also, one equipment manager. Finally, in a classy artistic tribute to the kicking problems that cost the Lions at least two games this season, Prater boots the short field goal with easily 2 or 3 inches to spare inside the left upright.
So very amusing.
Who do the Lions dominate next week?
Got to go now. Time to adjust my blue bandanna and pound a few more Strohs that have been in the basement since they closed the plant in '85. Saving them for a special occasion.

And the jinx of how accurate the kicker is with the percentage at the bottom of the screen.

LOL. Welcome to watching a Lions game. You can make contact with a Lion receiver if it's a Lion. Little known NFL rule.
