Well they really didn't win much the first 41 years (I was a fan for 15ish of that) so I'm not minding it.

Probably not tired of it. But definitely take it for granted.

Eh, I'm not that worried about the Texans. A bit more worried about the Chiefs or Steelers.

Yahoo says it's the 3rd biggest playoff spread in history.
Texans defence is pretty good though, right?

2016 Divisional, Pats -16 vs. Texans
1994 Divisional, 49ers -15.5 vs. Bears
1978 Divisional, Cowboys -15 vs. Falcons
Jets won, Atlanta covered.

He looks like me (according to Jerloma). He has my initials. And he lives in a log cabin the way I did in Germany. He's copying me. The bastard.

PIT/KC game moved to prime time (8:20PM kickoff) because of the weather. NBC must be devastated (though good thing the Golden Globes aren't this weekend).
I had another track meet to attend, so this is OK with me.

Bet on the Pats and may put a few bucks on Pittsburgh.
16 points is a massive amount, but the Pats have given up 87 points in 7 games. I bet we see Garafalo in this one.

forecasts have backed off for the KC metro in terms of ice on Saturday/Sunday. consider me in the camp of wondering just how much TV ratings for a Sunday night playoff game played into the decision to move Steelers-Chiefs.

Scary thing is the actual Janeane Garafalo could start at QB and the Pats would still be an 8 point favorite.

I would take the Pats giving 10 or even 13 points, but 16 seems a bit too high to me. I could easily see something like a 24-10 result where New England dominates the game, is up 24-3 late and Houston scored a garbage time TD to cover. And in the unlikely event that Houston's offense actually plays well, they'll easily cover 16.
I have no idea what to think about the KC-Pittsburgh game. I think the Steelers are the better team but KC has the home field and Andy Reid's ridiculous record coming off a bye working for them.

Steelers were 5-3 on the road, but have won their last four... over CLE, IND, BUF, CIN. Roethlisberger splits this year with MIA as only playoff team they played on the road (KC, NE, DAL, NYG were all at home):
HOME: 70.8% completion rate, 8.47 yds/att, 20 TD, 5 INT
AWAY: 59.4% completion rate, 6.73 yds/att, 9 TD, 8 INT
I'm not a big fan of KC or Reid, but the pass game home/road differences for Roethlisberger make me lean to them.

I'll make some imaginary Swampbuck bets on the Chiefs and the Patriots. But, I will be rooting hard for the Texans. How awesome (albeit unlikely) would it be for Brock Osweiler to have his breakout game to lead them to a victory? Yeh, I know. That ain't gonna happen.
