Well, now I wish I had given you a Swamp high-five for getting Parseghian's name correct.

I didn't click and just assumed he was announcing the death of Armen Keteyian or the girl from Arrested Development. Nice job, WluLax!

NH is now putting inspection stickers on the lower driver's side corner instead of up in the middle and I now spend 30 minutes a day wishing it was trapezoidal so the bottom and side ran parallel to the windshield.

Oh man, welcome to the club. I always want to ask them to just let me put it on.

When I eat ice cream or peanut butter, I always skim it off the top of the carton/jar and keep it relatively smooth and flat on top. My wife rarely eats peanut butter, but today she placed the jar right in front of me and proceeded to shove the knife in vertically and yank out a gob to put on her apple slices.

I summoned the self-control not to stab her.

Might consider editing/deleting that before someone does the ... thing, SC.

This might've been more irrational than something to do with OCD, but here goes...

I was out at the pub late yesterday afternoon having a few drinks with Mrs Root. I'd just pumped something like six bucks into the juke box and loaded up, well, The Talking Heads' Remain in Light to play from start to finish. There were probably 6 people at the pub. Cold and rainy day, people at SB parties, etc.

Anywho about 10 minutes into the music, in walks a couple guys asking if they'll have sound for the game. Of course, says the bartender.

"Can we have sound now?"

"It's 5:00. Give it a while."

"OK, we'll go someplace else then."

"OK, you can have sound now."

So...basically, I lost five dollars of music because the bartender felt it was better to acknowledge their request to listen to 90 minutes of pre game banter rather than recognize I had already spent $ on the juke box.

So I asked him, "The game doesn't start for til like 6:30. I'm pretty sure my music would've been over in a half hour. Are you going to pay me that $5? Or are you just OK with the fact it's coming out of your tip?"

"It's raining! Nobody's going to be out tonight! What should I have done?!"

"Realize who your regulars are. Check please.."

$80 tab (wife had a couple vodka tonics, and I had some higher priced scotches)...$11 tip.

I'm a 25% guy. I took the $5 out of the standard 20% tip though. Thing is, that was still a 14% tip.

I woke up this morning thinking I tipped him too much. Thoughts?

Yes.

And I was a bartender for a few years.

(And that is the greatest album in history)

I can't find it. I assumed it was just showing the result of someone OCD.

Once you find it you can't not find it.

Until I saw this post, I was wondering if it was just the right side was cropped out of the photo.

No.

The graphic artist clearly can neither count nor figure out the prinicples of graphic representations.

Me = [X][X][X][X]

It also calls the message's authenticity into question. "That's more than 4 toothbrushes, and that's less than 7 plastic floss containers. That was likely sloppy copy editing.

He needed to lay out the truly disparate comparisons so that there were 167 plastic water bottles and 170 plastic bags. Lay the products out in the shapes of the numbers they represent. So that, for example, there are 167 water bottles that represent the 1, 6 & 7. Or, just do it in a grid, but keep the count authentic either way.

I've done graphic design. I do UI all the time. This shit would infuriate me if it came across my desk.

My son is studying Industrial Design.

This would make him apoplectic.

There were a couple mileage reference signs on I-95 in CT today where the city name was right-aligned and the number was left. Only the 384th worst thing about that stupid road and it’s still awful.

I'm sure this has been posted or is old, but Google the word askew.

Also, seems like the new Leon Bridges album cover would annoy some:

OK, it's driving me nuts that it's still titled the "MLB Week 1" thread, even though we've de facto decided to make it the single thread for the full season.
