So are we getting any cool British announcers again or is it all going to be J.P. "pronounce foreign names like a pompous ass" Dellacamera?

The latter. This is Fox, bro. They don't go for giving jobs to foreigners.

Kind of ironic isn't it that the cheerleader station for our Nationalist president is broadcasting the non-American World Cup?

We are blessed with the British announcers here.

You know, World Cup 2026 will be great when the field is expanded to 48, and we get to see a few of the teams that Saudi Arabia can beat in the tournament.

USA would have thrashed that team.

Israel is forced to qualify through Europe because so many teams in Asia refuse to take the field against them. They would have been in the last 2 or 3 world cups easily.

Since 94 - when Saudi Arabia beat Belgium! - their record at the world cup is 0-2-8 with 4 goals scored, 31 conceded.

Asia gets way too many spots already so adding more is going to result in some more stinkers. FIFA keeps trying to get China into the tournament and they’ll keep adding teams until they do.

I watch a lot of Asian football and they are usually pretty organized. Minnows can usually handle their own third, it's the final third that's the problem.
The Saudis must have been shocked playing the first game. I've never seen two worst center backs in a world cup game.

Anyone have a live stream that I can listen/watch during the day? Xfinity only allows you to watch Fox from your home WiFi. FoxSports is fine, just Fox.

Fox sports Go app carries Network feed. Is Xfinity able to block the network feed only? If so, unaware they could block individual feeds within a third party app.

Also, if Fox app doesn't work, try the NBCsports app since Univision has spanish language rights

Consider they're in a group with Spain and Portugal a 0-0 result is basically a loss for both these teams. Could see some exciting back and forth action here in the last 30 minutes. Both teams SHOULD be playing like they're a goal down at this point.

(Then again I said the same thing about Algeria vs. the US in 2010 and they just went into a shell to try and preserve a draw for some damn reason.)

That Moroccan player has a major concussion. Looked like he had the fencing response when he tried to get up. I thought there was a clash of heads and then his head hit the ground, too. That looked rough.

Six minutes is bullshit. You're right. It should have been closer to 10. One of these days I'd like to see the refs get that right.
