I actually have a few euros in my drawer that would love the chance to bet against United.

Although, they may have a competent manager in place by February... but still. That has "shellacking" written all over it.

Not feeling too confident about Spurs - but I never do.

Liverpool-Bayern should be epic.

If Pulisic ends up in Chelsea is he eligible for Europa league or does the cup-tie in Champions League cross competitions these days. I know in the past if used to competition specific.

the cup-tied rule has been scrapped by UEFA. Teams can make three changes between the group and knockout stages with no restrictions.

I could’ve defended the corner better than Matic. That was horrific.

This tie could end up 10-0, and I'd still be 100% fine with a lifetime contract for OGS.

Matic shut off on the play leading to the corner as well. That was the Mbappé header where DeGea had to make a low diving save to his left. Both Matic and Lindelof were right there and they watched Mbappé take the header, standing.

I won’t complain that Kimpembe was still on the pitch to score his goal, but holy shit that ref was inconsistent with what garnered a yellow. Pogba’s second was rough. That said though, I thought he was lucky to not see a second yellow when he slid in on Alves and barely touched the ball. Had Alves gone down there I think he would have been off.

Marquinhos was the player of the match for me. He was everywhere when United had the ball, and did a fantastic job of taking Pogba off his game. Again though, he was playing very physical and right up to the edge of what’s a foul constantly. A case where a players strength (Pogba) counts against them, as Pogba was holding him off when others might have gone down.

I think that's the best half I've seen this team play.

Dortmund looked really good in the first half, but like Southampton in the second. Hopefully, Pulisic will play like that for Chelsea next season!

Yesterday's games were split between Univision TDN and TNT for me. Today both channels are the Atletico/Juve match. Dumb.

33 minutes in, and Ajax up 2-0 at the Bernabeu (and 3-2 on aggregate). Vazquez already came off injured and in tears, and now Vinicius off injured and in tears.

I'm not mocking their tears or happy that they're injured, but fuck Madrid.

This Spurs game is killing me. Lloris made more saves than I could count - they look like Brighton out there.

Thank God it's 0-0.
