From what I saw, Maryland won in an upset.

He's officiated MAC games seemingly forever.
He used to do Big East games after his NFL assignments were over, as well.

Ja Morant has scored or assisted on 31 of Murray State's 41 in the first half against Marquette.

Marquette losing five of its last six should have been a huge red flag. This team just looks lost.

Is Morant over Williamson a supportable position to take?

Based solely on muted SC highlights watched at the gym, ESPN seemed to think the Murray St kid was good. Guess they got that one right.

I was being facetious with the "dominating" comment, but was legit serious in describing the refs treatment of Belmont late.

That game looked weirdly seeded from the jump - Murray state should have been the 5.

In a first round mid seed matchup always go with the best player!

I did not do that.

Finished with 55 scored or assisted. That's fucking nuts.

I knew Wofford was good and I totally expected them to win, but that was a barrage.

I put a decent-sized bet on Big Ten over 10.5 wins in the tournament and might have it locked tomorrow (of course, it can all go to shit over the weekend as well).

It sadly didn't happen, but the Big East would have to have been the first conference with 4 schools to carry 0 over into the first Friday, right?

UVA down 7 to Gardner-Webb. Losing to UMBC is one thing but losing to a furniture store is another.

If this keeps up, somebody is going to have to set up a suicide watch on you-know-who.

In my eight-person draft, I had #4 snake draft spot, so the last round gave me the choice of the four 16-seeds.

As ridiculous as it sounds, if they lose I don't know how Tony Bennett keeps his job.

I just threw $100 (to win $20) on UVA to win, so they're definitely gonna lose now.

Your (semi)annual reminder that the first college basketball team I followed, DePaul, lost their opening game as a #1 seed in 1980 and 1981 *and* 1982.

I think that probably fucked me up as a sports fan even more than the Cubs did.

(Edit: They entered the tournament 26-1 or 27-1 each of those years.)

You can tell them you know someone that owns* part of the school.

Yeah, I expect UVA to run away here. But still have to be a little concerned they've been flat (at best) in their last three straight halves of the NCAA Tournament. Will be interesting to see how they do against what looks to be a pretty decent Oklahoma team.
