For fuck's sake, this scene. Hard to convince me it was ironic.

Always had a hard time taking Dillon seriously after something about Mary. He was so good in that, his sort of authoritative voice sounds affected.

Hard to believe she was 26 or 27 when this came out instead of 17.

Theresa Russell was definitely a sex-positive role model for her daughter.

That is some great casting (both appearance and personality) on the mom.

Are there any movies where Denise Richards is better than this one?

After he turned 50 there was never any way Robert Wagner could be cast as anything but a lawyer.

The unmentioned thing is it seems Sam Lombardo has had his dick in half the county.

"Write musical cues that coincide with a description of rape" must have been a neat ask for the composer.

Maybe she's in the half of Blue Bay who hasn't been with Sam Lombardo.

Don't think there's any first timers here which is a shame because if you were you're probably thinking, "Wait, why is Neve Campbell in this movie again?" right now.

I need to know how many scripts where Bill Murray would star as a sleazy lawyer are not produced in the last two-plus decades just because they weren't good enough. I mean, he's tremendous and it seems like an obvious idea after this.

I like to think that Bill Murray's character was in large part inspired by Lionel Hutz.

As much of a treasure as Bill Murray is, he's basically been playing the same character since Rushmore. This was like a last glimpse before then.

I don't think playing this far against type really paid any dividends for Neve Campbell's career.

Nah, she was stereotyped as "high schooler" from all of her early projects, which evolved into star of the "Scream" franchise. Typecast from there.
