SNL deep cut! Or, real life? I can't remember now if it was a straight lampoon or if they lifted that straight from one of the actual debates...
I'm pretty sure he really said that. Or maybe I'm conflating. That whole ticket was like an SNL sketch.

Yeah, that's not worded great either. It's saying "failed to win both" as in "didn't sweep them" so it could be that the ticket lost one or both of the 2 home states
Ah! That helps explain why I couldn't think of many possible answers.
It's also why I went the Ross Perot route. Glad I read back through this, as it was driving me a little mental.

I remember it pretty vividly. The audience laughing was both incredible and a little heart-breaking.

And I also remember immediately thinking this was going to be almost too on the nose for an SNL parody. Boy, we had no idea what was coming down the tracks on that front.

Just rass now.

Four minus-1s on the board. Also a question with 6 1-point answers, one where the 3rd most popular answer is wrong, and one where half the correct answers haven't been said.

I'm calling #7 as the multiple 1 point question.

Just had the same experience, never registered Poptarts when I walk past, did a double take today. My guess was correct, and there is some wild flavors out there! I don’t know if I’ve ever eaten a Poptart. I must have at some point.

Now I'm terrified. I felt confident on at least 8 of these being correct at a minimum. Luckily its just BSF. wink.

(However, the one I'm most scared of is late so its tight bumhole maybe)

Good point, I didn't mean to presume...

The 1000 mile question made me realize that not only do I have no idea who played in championship games other than the NFL, I have no concept of distance between cities outside of the east coast.

That one I was able to recall because I spent that weekend at a retreat in Wintergreen, VA. I was with an old college buddy with 4 or 5 of his chef buddies who spent the entire weekend trying to out-cook one another. That's a sweet gig if you can land it (be the guy who isn't a chef at a weekend getaway where all the chefs try to out-chef one another).

Never a Pop-Tart guy. Only reason I knew blueberry was a real answer vs making an educated guess was that the food writer for a local paper (who I follow on twitter) always celebrates when he manages to find non-frosted blueberry, which he insists is the best flavor.

All the non-frosted versions, with the possible exception of snickerdoodle, are like the worst granola bar you've ever had. What is wrong with people?
