Just checked Orchard Park weather, and there is a gale warning, lakeshore flood warning, winter storm warning and a high wind warning for when the gale warning runs out.

60 mph winds, widespread power outages a possibility and up to 3 feet of snow. Ad in windchills below zero, and someone could die out there. (fans, not players)

Cue the announcer - "this is football weather!!"

Pretty impressive by Mac Jones to complete 67% of his passes in those conditions.

Was hoping I’d find a realtime quote from a pats fan along those lines in the thread for that week but closest was Rex gently mocking Jones for (presumably) throwing a third pass and missing.

Max, they need you!

https://www.buffalobills.com/news/buffa ... s-steelers

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. – The Buffalo Bills and Jani-King are asking anyone age 18 and over (or under 18 with proper working papers) interested in shoveling snow inside the stadium to come to Highmark Stadium starting at 10:00 p.m. tomorrow night (Saturday night) and be part of the team to get the venue ready for the hometown Bills Wildcard Playoff game vs. the Steelers!

Shovelers can shovel snow throughout the night on Saturday into Sunday morning if needed. The rate of pay is $20 per hour. Complimentary food and breaks will be provided throughout the shifts in a comfortable warm area. Those interested in shoveling must have proper photo identification (driver's license, state ID) to work.

Alright, let’s fucking do this.

And is Noah Eagle Ian Eagle’s son or his aged-up clone? If I had my glasses off I would’ve thought it was his dad.

Eye-an Eagle is the only Ian I’ve ever heard of who pronounces it that way. I’ve known several guys who pronounce it Ee-an, and known of a few more.

Are they just not going to do anything with the Astrodome? There’s gotta be something they can do. Like maybe make it a big-ass theater in the round/concert venue? Maybe do shit like Shakespeare in the Dome during the summer. I don’t know.

It wasn't the Flacco thing that was so shocking (obviously) it was the Cleveland D a complete no-show. Garrett probably gonna talk a LOT less after this. Or, he should.

Only time I noticed him after the first series was when he ran way offside on the extra point that made it 45-14

Three posts to respond to, not quoting them all.

The governor put in a travel ban for Erie County starting at 9:00pm, so there will be no snow removal at the Bills' stadium... until 8:00am tomorrow.

"The Astrodome was condemned by the City of Houston in 2009 and does not have a working HVAC system or plumbing, according to Walsh, and a series of ideas to refurbish and repurpose the building since that time have not come to fruition."

And Noah Eagle is Ian Eagle's son.

Watched a little of the NBC pregame whenever it started this afternoon and it was clear Rodney Harrison was unhappy then and he looks even more distressed now.
