Overly dramatic (or comma'd) as it was, that is a fair point. I don't know. They just have a giant banner out front advertising their sloppy joes. I still miss Tabachnick's, which used to be in the same shopping center.

No, Swiss.
Pretty good. The Russian dressing was white, and the coleslaw had a yellow/orange tinge. A lot of meat, but only two pieces of bread. $8.50, and came with two very good pickles.

Indonesian Peanue Saute at Noodles and Company. Just opened here in town. Decent and decently spicy, but it doesn't stick to the ribs.
Got the noodles with grilled chicken and a side caesar for 760 calories. Not bad for eating out.

Rare Roast Beef & Swiss on a Poppy Bagel with mayo. Delicious.
I also had two small bags of Funyuns on the side. I fucking love Funyuns, and loathe Wise's counterpart "Onion Rings".

Picked up some Katthu Roti at the Sri Lankan joint. Had to look it up mid meal, cause I had no idea what I was eating. Looks pretty gross, but tastes great. It is roti bread chopped into tiny pieces with tiny pieces of chicken, red onion, scallion, some sort of veggie that may or may not be cabbage, carrots and chili peppers. This picture looks pretty similar.

That sounds unreal. I had a pastor taco and a pierna taco from a pretty awesome tacqueria down the road from the office. As predicted, I am not happy I didn't go with a third.

Nice. Enchilada cheese sauce might be overkill, but chorizo and eggs in a burrito is inspired. I forgot that my lunch had egg similar to mu shu. And garlic.

It actually had three sauces, each on a third of the burrito to look like a mexican flag...red sauce, white cheese and verde sauce. The verde portion was the best, but they were all mixed after a few bites.

Bratwurst is an underappreciated omelet ingredient. Brats, sauerkraut and Swiss or white cheddar is a good combo.

i've been trying to eat less bread lately, so in the past i would have just thrown it on a roll and would have been done with it. but thought i'd flip the script. next time i might try the sauerkraut instead of the peppers.

Went into the City and got myself some sweet, sweet street lamb. This vendor offered a spiced rice, full of coriander and other spices. Never seen that from a street lamb dude, and I've tried them all. Anyone visiting New York, you have to grab some lamb and chicken over rice from one of the trucks. They are everywhere now. While some are better than others, never had a bad one. And they are Halal! Grilled meat with onion, pepper and sometimes carrot. Hot sauce and white sauce.

There was so much meat that a bunch fell off, leaving me a nice little meat salad for after. I got a sgreek alad with it, and popped some extra onions and tomatoes in there. I was pleased, but I'm not sure of whether it was good or bad in terms of ratio.

I think like 75% of gyros joints skimp on the meat. Usually there's only like 2 bites in the whole gyro where you get the holy combination of meat, tzatziki, tomato, and cucumber. So if you find a place that doesn't skimp, hold on to it for dear life.

There was no skimping in this one. Looking forward to when they come back in three weeks. This food truck thing is nice.

Torchy's Tacos. Thinking "The Democrat" (barbacoa with cilantro and onions with a tomatillo sauce) along with "The Brushfire" (carribean jerk chicken with mango salsa and their diablo sauce).
If you ever make a trip to Austin or Houston (or Dallas, Waco, Lubbock), this place is a must-try.
