The winner so far, even though on its second go-round, Candle in the Wind earns consideration.

Mick Jagger - Dancin' In The Streets? or Bing Crosby/Bowie - Little Drummer Boy?

You better have just mixed up Stevie and Michael and not be trying to add "The Girl is Mine".

Biggie: "Hypnotize"

That may be controversial and/or one I over-hate, but it sucked. Listen again. It sucked.

I like that one. I was gonna add Juicy or Big Poppa at first.

Jesus! That was Stevie Wonder wasn't it?

But both duets make crappy additions to a horrible mixtape.

Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle

Pretty much anything Steve Miller Band - fuckin' awful and inexplicibly popular for a long time.

If we stay away from the '90s crap, I would go with "Some Guys Have All the Luck" over "Hot Legs" for Stewart. And I'd put "Young Turks" on my "too enjoyably cheesy to truly suck" list along with a good third of the songs already mentioned in this thread.

Brief jack~

First two albums were pretty good. Much less commercial/poppy. Boz Scaggs was in the band, making all the difference. Check 'Children of the Future' or 'Sailor'.

Rod the Mod did so many great records early in his career. A ton. He has plenty of entries for this tape, but he earned the right for a few lemons.

Good job.

I don't listen to Alive or Jeremy anymore, mostly due to overplay. Otherwise, their only truly skippable songs are throwaways. Knowledgable but non-super fans probably would say something from Yield, after which I'd spit on them.

Steve Miller Band seems like all of their songs were written with the express purpose of being used in TV commercials 30 years down the road.

The Joker is the one song of theirs that I actually like.

Beck just came on the radio and I was sure there's a Beck song that I hate but I looked and there really isn't. (And don't say "Where Its At". That's just boring now, its not actively bad like most of the songs listed. (Except "Juicy", which is the dumbest thing I'll read for the rest of my goddamn life.))

Sure. And I have a soft spot for "Bohemian Rhapsody" because my parents had it one some sort of mix tape(!) that I enjoyed on long car trips when I was a kid, pre-Wayne's World resurgence/overkill.

Yes Delaware...I like Queen. Freddy Mercury was amazing. Also, Brian May is an astrophysicist so not only can he answer any question about the universe you have...he's also Brian May.
