Gotta go to Garduno's and get the "Tableside Guacamole"!
And if you really do go to Garduno's I suggest the carne adovada. Though that has nothing to do with BB.

I've made it through Season 1, and I gotta say I'm super impressed at how this show nailed the core Trump voter 8 years in advance.

I'm not reading the rest of the thread and I don't want to be spoiled, by the way. I do hope Hank lives to see America made great again.

If you go to any quality New Mexican place I suggest carne adovada. I'm not much of a pork eater, but that stuff is the shit.

I think most, if not all the Garduño's restaurants have closed.

Nope. There's one open at the Winrock Mall. I haven't been, but I went to the Genghis Grill there several times and it's still there

There's one in Vegas still too.

Also echo what Rush said. Though chile Colorado will give it a run sometimes.

I wonder if they expanded too fast, had someone ripping off money or what, they seemed like they had a license to print money. Not the best New Mexican, but pretty good, and it was nice to grab something with green chile in the airport that wasn't shitty airport food.

Anthony Hopkins wrote Bryan Cranston a letter saying "your performance as Walter White was the best acting I have seen - ever."

So is season three generally considered when this show entered the pantheon? Because that was fucking great.

I had to look up on Wikipedia the general overview of season three to remember the gist, but yeah, that sounds about right. And it continually gets better every season.

Ending in the best Super Bowl commercial this year.

Every GD time I think this show has made a misstep they're like "no rass you forgot about this thing that happened in a previous episode that either made perfect sense for the character to do at the time and is now biting them in the ass or otherwise seemed perfectly innocuous" and I'm like "oh shit Breaking Bad you're right and so GD good at what you do!"

I totally ruined what happened at Casa Tranquila for myself I guess 12 years ago or so by stumbling across a gnarly gif but it was still pretty incredible and even gnarlier watching the episode.

Gonna miss Gus.

That was one of the most impactful scenes in the history of television.

I paid very little attention that show as it ran, having not watched BB at the time. But they clearly had some sort of relationship prior to us meeting Saul so it makes sense to dive into that. Nice.

How did I do? Did I have many funny, thought-provoking comments?
I liked the part where you chastised my (turns out aborted) attempt to record and watch the series on AMC back in 2013 and told me to get Netflix and then later on talked about being a sleepy little guy because you stayed up late watching a marathon on AMC the week before the finale.

Anyway, that was fucking great. As I've mentioned a couple of times so much of the show has been meme'd or become cultural references that it was impossible to get this without knowing some of what was coming. I was *convinced* that Holly was going to die, that having the only unimpeachably innocent character on the show pay for Walt's actions was a no-brainer. Figured Hank was doomed, but not that his would be the final, key death that broke everything. My poor Marie.

Maybe a little much that they had to turn to neo-Nazis as antagonists to make sure we were on Walt's side at least a little by the end, but I was glad that the show was once again ahead of me and Walt's attack on Uncle Jack and Meth Damon/Dead-Eyed Tood and the Monsters (good stuff!) didn't end up being a blaze of glory rescue mission for Jesse. Though it 100% made sense that Walt would save him once he found him.

Going to watch the Jesse flick and then dive into BCS.
