(FWIW, I don't doubt for a second that they ship some stuff with the team charters. Jerseys, other completely essential irreplaceable gear, etc. You'll notice that even in your supposedly damning image that the trailer is still connected to a motor vehicle which itself could be transporting the vast majority of stuff much more cheaply than the air cargo rate would be.)
I got the first tweet from a Reddit thread. Throughout the thread, they discuss how Idaho flys everywhere because of their location in relation to other Sunbelt schools (the closest is 1500+ miles away) and that they'll most likely get a sweet truck once they are back in the Big Sky and everything is closer.
Ya, pretty sure that everything for 80+ players would fit in that trailer.
Saban should have to go coach the Jags next year if Alabama wins the title game. Five NCAA titles in eight seasons is absurd in the modern era of college sports. It's also crazy how close he came to having even more of them. The 2013 team would've made the title game if not for the loss in that wacky Auburn game and the 2014 team would've played for the title (and been favored over FSU) had the BCS lasted just one more season before giving way to the playoff.
Gotta be honest. I wrote PSU off after UM beat the shit out of them earlier in the season. I thought they would get BLOWN OUT tonight. Whatever happens, this is pretty amazing for PSU.

I for one can't believe that Brent Musburger, who called Tommie Smith and John Carlos "black skinned stormtroopers," would have a completely insensitive perspective on Joe Mixon's assault. For anyone not watching the Sugar Bowl, Musburger said about Mixon:
Folks he is one of the best and let's hope given a second chance from Bob Stoops and Oklahoma, let's hope this young man makes the most of his second chance and goes on to have a career in the National Football League.

Yeah, and what he said before that, too. Very insensitive.
During the switch over to the Sugar Bowl from the Rose Bowl I basked in Brent's voice and thought not for the first time that ESPN screwed him over by moving him to the SEC Network and giving Chris Fowler the top CFB play calling job. I didn't watch much of the second game and missed these comments, but maybe I'm wrong and ESPN is actually doing Brent a favor.
I'm baffled at this not very good PSU team being consistently very good over the 2nd half of their season. I guess if you have a QB and bad ass WR you can score hella points in the NCAA though.
USC's QB is going to win a Heisman.

And USC is probably 11-2 (well, they go to the Pac-12 title game too, so there's a 14th game) if he starts all season.

That was a very entertaining game for a nearly 4 1/2 hour game. Without Moorhead that offense would have been a disaster. His adjustments are incredibly effective. He won't be there much longer and I'm hoping someone is taking good notes.
maybe it's because the NCAA has a rule for it that was created five years ago?
A former student at the certifying institution (e.g., former student-athlete) may participate in an organized practice session on an occasional basis, provided the institution does not publicize the participation of the former student at any time before the practice session.
