A lot of what some people consider their “lesser” works (relatively because they’re incredible) are sneaky genius. Thinking especially of Burn After Reading, Hail Caesar and A Serious Man. For almost any other director those would be their best movie by far. I’ve seen Burn After Reading maybe 20 times and I still laugh nonstop.

When I flew into LAX a couple of months ago, I got to walk down the "Jackie Brown" corridor from the start of the movie.

And yes, its a great movie. Probably my favorite Tarantino.

I can see that. It's less "Tarantino" than his other movies. And since DiS hasn't seen a single Adam Sandler movie, I'm guessing he's not a fan of silliness.

I’ve been beating this drum for 20 years but it seems to be becoming more mainstream but yes Jackie Brown is vastly superior to Pulp Fiction.

It was late enough at night so I called it a night during the first gay sex scene. "Yeah, I'm sure this movie has meaning and all, but I'll leave it to you guys to find it."
