Great job by them, I was positive they went out of business 5 years ago. I thought someone made a fake account, but it’s blue check and links to an online store. Online only now?

All I had to do was see a Tai Lopez ad once to know he was a cunt. It was just a selfie video of him showing off his Lambo telling me I could be like him.

Still my new favorite 4th of July thing - the Gettysburg battle through my favorite army historian tweets (lined up with real time events):

Hit that tweet for his growing thread...

Musk is no longer buying Twitter.

Twitter is going to sue.

Opening Arguments podcast has been on this from minute one in saying that Musk wouldn't do it.

The Vandoliers liked a tweet of mine a couple weeks ago. Would that be better/worse than Mad Max?

One of these days I'll have to reach out to him for board game reasons when I go to a board gaming convention. Almost did a few years back, but didn't.

I love the Vandoliers and all, but until they can hit the dagger in game 7 to give one of my teams their first professional championship, it's always going to be MadMax!

There's a whole lotta rabbit holes to go down here. George being born sometime this year makes sense, since the series debuted in 1962 and was supposed to be 100 years into the future and it's said that he's 40 in its first season. So that math checks out. But then Jane mentions in the first season that she's 33. Okay, seven years isn't that terrible. But Judy is 15, which means Jane gave birth at 18, conceiving her at 17, when George was 24, so then we get a bit creepy.

Of course, women got married and gave birth pretty young in those days, so it wasn’t as unusual as it would be today. My mom was 19 when I was born, and my dad was just short of 24. They had been married 9 months plus two days when I popped out.

Yeah, my Dad was 10 years older than his nephew. He was three years younger than his sister...

And for the record, he should have been aborted (the nephew, not my Dad).

Yeah, but they didn't see that in the year 2062 it would be a bit more problematic.

Yeah, it’s funny to see that in both The Jetsons and The Flintstones, the reflected societal mores are firmly rooted in the late 50s/early 60s, despite their supposed eras. Especially in the roles of women.

Yeah, and they had the vehicles and electronics of the 50s/60s in the Caveman era. It's almost like the cartoon wasn't realistic.
