Anyway, earlier today a video circulated on the internet showing the President of the United States’ (recent) former campaign manager, shirtless in the middle of a driveway, being violently subdued by six heavily armed law enforcement officers.

And nobody seems to know how to react. Everyone seems too tired to even formulate a thought about it other than “lol” or “meh”. It’s so weird.

I fucking hate the militarization of the police because they think they're people like me in a warzone. And they're not.

Their entire "interacting with the public" structure needs to be decimated and rebuilt. All of their military toys need to be taken.

And the fucking war on drugs needs to end.

That being said, I liked seeing that piece of white trash get tackled.

Not gonna watch the debate tonight. Someone who can stomach this give a thumbs up or thumbs down in here as it unfolds.

(My nervousness is that all the risk in each debate lies with Biden - short of tripping and falling or audibly filling his diaper there is nothing Trump can do which will cost him with his cult - but there’s a lot that could go wrong for Biden that might hurt at the margins where it matters )

Trump's cult isn't the issue. It's morons who still can't figure out who to vote for even after living through the nightmare of the past four years.

I don't think I can watch because it's too nervewracking and because even the politicians I like rarely answer questions the way I want to see the questions answered. It's like when I used to have to sit in court while the senior partner did a hearing on a motion that I briefed.

I know I will obsessively follow along on Twitter though.

I won't list everything, you guys have been paying attention... But he could stick to 3 issues and not even get into Impeachment, and Biden should absolutely obliterate Trump tonight.

I have a strong feeling he will.

I just don't need to burn time out of my life watching it. He either fucks him up or he doesn't. I truly don't understand anyone where this is going to be what moves the needle.

That one I’m looking forward to. I know Kamala will crush it, and Pence has absolutely no personality or charm. I’m terrified of Biden coming across as a doddering fool or losing his cool and threatening to take Trump outside with all of his malarkey.
