While I don't disagree with your overall point... It's pretty hard to find 2 issues that would produce more fervor among young, first time voters than pot and abortion rights.

Missouri just legalized recreational marijuana and will very likely have a constitutional amendment on the ballot in November that would reverse the statewide abortion ban.

Yeah, outside of St. Louis, Kansas City, and Columbia, Missouri is as red and crazy as Alabama. Now that her parents have passed on, I told my wife I’m never visiting her relatives there again.

Very dumb alright. One thing there that upsets me it the idea some idiots believe that somehow Trump has influence or control on the behavior of Russia, Iran, and/or Hamas. If anything, he makes it worse.

But Trump says he does, and his cult believes everything he says. When Putin invaded Ukraine, Trump blamed Biden and said Putin wouldn't have invaded if Trump was President, because Trump would have told him not to. And I've heard countless idiots parrot that. While the logic in the article is stupid, I actually think if Trump took that approach, people would believe it.
