It's magic, it's tragic, it's a loss, it's a win...BSF21 wrote:But what is it?Denis wrote:Getting closer to Faith No More's new stuff, May 19th. Not sure how many of you guys follow but I Care A Lot. Probly too much.
Eat the fucking cornbread!brian wrote:
Pretty rare for a remix to be better than the original, especially when the original song was fucking awesome, but I love this remix of Volcano Choir's "Comrade" (with all lyrics removed)
(Remix by Collections of Colonies of Bees).

They're actually hitting Vegas for two nights on their fall tour (with Strand of Oaks opening to boot). Kinda shocked. Can't wait to see that show.Giff wrote:Enjoying the new My Morning Jacket release.
I bought tickets for BSFGF and I to go see this guy. I just don't get the draw. I listened to hours of his stuff on Spotify, maybe 3 songs that I wouldn't turn off if they came up next on the radio or Pandora or whatever. What is it that you like about his music?Rush2112 wrote:Rush2112 wrote:Sufjan's new album is quite good at first listen.
and the second.
I'm going to try to catch them in San Francisco since I'll be out there for my niece's wedding.brian wrote:They're actually hitting Vegas for two nights on their fall tour (with Strand of Oaks opening to boot). Hopefully this time! We haven't really sat down to plan the trip. A lot of it will depend on how the new kiddo's doing and how much time we want to be away from her. I hope to be there for a week. Wedding's on 10/10. Oh, she's a huge Sharks fan!sancarlos wrote:Maybe we can get a beer or something while you are out here...Giff wrote:I'm going to try to catch them in San Francisco since I'll be out there for my niece's wedding.brian wrote:They're actually hitting Vegas for two nights on their fall tour (with Strand of Oaks opening to boot). this song inexplicably makes me wistful for home. at certain points, it can actually ruin me. fucking beautiful americana.Rush2112 wrote:I'll gladly go iif you don't want to, he sadly is coming no where near CO.
I like him because of the way he arranges his songs, the things that he sings about and the words that he uses.
This a happy song about a young girl dying.
It's one of the most beautiful things put to paper.cerrano wrote:

Still haven't bought tickets for the mmj sturgill Simpson war on drugs festival show. Need to do that.brian wrote:I don't see how anything is going to usurp this My Morning Jacket album as best of 2015. It would take something pretty freaking extraordinary.

If you don't make it to the War on Drugs show, we aren't internet friends any more.AB_skin_test wrote:Still haven't bought tickets for the mmj sturgill Simpson war on drugs festival show.
