Does someone with 1.3 million followers just decide he has to snipe at one a day or something?
He shit, hard, on the O's in April and May, and is pretending in september he didn't do that. Shit on their version of the process, etc, and then they started to win and O's fans won't let it go. Which I support. Olney is a doofus.
Well, in fairness to the situation (not necessarily involving Olney), Elias didn't get back nearly enough for the value that Jorge Lopez represented to Baltimore's postseason chances.
He also publicly shit on the O’s for giving Mussina’s uniform # to Rutschman this year when it was been worn by multiple members of the team since Mussina left and he never complained then.
I was ok w the Lopez deal. Getting 4 arms back for a 28 year old former starter with a 5 ERA who happens to have gotten hot this year as a closer. But I trust that Elias knows what he’s doing and I don’t.
I mean, sure he's good at what he does, but he still traded a badly needed commodity for this year's playoff chances in hopes to catch lightning in a bottle a few years down the road.
As for Moose? Angelos was an ignorant son of a bitch when it came to the proper valuation of starting pitching.
A competently run organization never would've let him walk...
Ok.
Olney is still a douche.
BFJ is the town wizard who runs a magic shop. He also has a golem that he has trained to attack anti-Semites.

I mean ... this is a pretty dumb thing to do, right? Mussina's number will some day be retired by the team and, in a perfect world, Rutschman will be on that same path. Like the Yankees aren't going to give Volpe #52. Or #35 for that matter ; )

Wasted opportunity not pronouncing it Mah-ket basket. When the guy said the dinosaurs went to the tar pits, I had to replay it 3 times to figure out what he was saying, and I lived in Boston for 3 years.
Somebody linked to this news story about a Dunkin Donuts in rural PA. Makes me realize I should be watching local news more often, so much gold in this piece.

Sounds bad, but I’d like to see some more details first. If he lays off the people who keep putting “Gettleman” in my trending topics list, then maybe it’s a good thing.
Couldn't sleep last night. Then stumbled across this thread. Then couldn't sleep b/c was laughing really hard for awhile. There's some gems I had missed:
These were the two that made me especially lose it:
