Simply Lays thick cut potato chips are pretty excellent.
It's the sixth version of The Swamp. What could possibly go wrong?

Patton Oswalt did a bit about “ancient / biblical grains..”

Burger Chef!DSafetyGuy wrote: ↑Tue Jan 25, 2022 9:55 am There was a Rax in the town where I spent most of my formative years. I feel like it replaced the Burger Chef for its relatively brief run. I don't remember all the changes mentioned in the video (meatball pockets, pizza), so I suspect those came after this location went belly up.
I should note that this initial complaint was lodged by Mrs. AB and I too was unaware that was Berry. Then it incensed me! COOPER HAS A LINE!
I actually looked it up because she looks so hot in those commercials. She is 55!!! Surprised it was Berry, but once I realized I can't believe I didn't see it before. Maybe just not expecting a huge star to play a silent extra in a commercial.
Hey, it worked for Pabst. The Sybian wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 4:53 pmAre they targeting customers so contrarian they will drink shitty coffee as a form of rebelling against drinking good coffee?
At least he has his own commercial where he's the star!
I used to think the nadir of American society hit when I saw an ad for a teaser for a Super Bowl commercial featuring Kevin Federline (who was "famous" for being Britney Spears's ex-boyfriend and looked like if a literal douche transformed into a person), but that's been comfortably passed.DaveInSeattle wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 10:39 am Is anyone else bothered that now we get 'pre-commercials' to hype up for Super Bowl ads?
I don't love it and definitely avoid them on social sites, but it's pretty impossible to ignore during regular TV. The final versions will be slightly different maybe but I did like the good old days of seeing it live during game. But I'm guessing they reach even more people this way than during something a billion people watch.Johnny Carwash wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 1:47 pmI used to think the nadir of American society hit when I saw an ad for a teaser for a Super Bowl commercial featuring Kevin Federline (who was "famous" for being Britney Spears's ex-boyfriend and looked like if a literal douche transformed into a person), but that's been comfortably passed.DaveInSeattle wrote: ↑Wed Feb 09, 2022 10:39 am Is anyone else bothered that now we get 'pre-commercials' to hype up for Super Bowl ads?
I think the insane cost of a SB ad makes sense for the first time now. SB is about the only time all year I will ever see a commercial without fast forwarding on DVR. My parents used to record the SB to FF the game and watch the commercials.Rams Fanny wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 2:05 pm I'm more bothered the market is bearing $216,666/sec on sunday
It is also one of the few times that TV watching gets numbers when we have 3 VHF and 5 UHF channels to choose from. The Sybian wrote: ↑Thu Feb 10, 2022 3:33 pmI think the insane cost of a SB ad makes sense for the first time now.
