I do agree that "searching for Pluto" is WAY too thin to throw in the mix. That said, almost regardless of which version of the Production Assistant you choose to believe... That was pretty classic harassment. He was married at the time, she had told him she had a fiance. They had no business going to his apartment and drinking and it was pretty clearly a power move with a shitty dynamic involved.

Not to split hairs, AB, but this isn't a "newspaper" thing. This is "just about anyone can call themselves a news outlet." I'm not saying the story isn't accurate, I'm just saying this isn't about some bigger plot by The Media to go after all male celebrities. Not saying you're saying that, exactly, but it seems implied.

This story has been trying to get out for at least 4 years. This woman confronted him publicly before and has written about it at least 3 times. I'm not familiar with the site that broke this, "Patheos," but it seems like this woman has been trying to get this version of events out there for awhile and MSM hasn't been willing to touch it.

And I'm pretty sure you're safe. Just don't ask a subordinate up to your apt/hotel room and talk about needing a physical release. You can do it! I have faith...
YEah, newspaper wasn't the right word I suppose.

And finally, not having anyone subordinate to me pays off!

Curious, but are we unanimous that Kareem Hunt should have an NFL career long before Louis CK should have an acting/comedy career?

What's the over/under on the number of women Hunt would have to beat before you felt differently?

Good question and I don't know. I meant from a standpoint of what Hunt did was outside of his employment and CK's was very much not. If you want to say both should be gone from entertainment, I'm certainly listening, but they're still pretty different to me.

No! If you do that, they win.

I love how that article starts with "Fourth woman accuses Neil deGrasse Tyson of sexual assault" and then goes on to describe the four accusations, only one of which describes a sexual assault.

I'm kinda feeling guilty for enjoying it. He was so good on House of Cards - such a great character. I don't know how he pulled off being a charming creepy slimeball so well.

It's great it's happening, but the R. Kelly thing has been out and open and known for years. Just odd how with that being the case, and the momentum of #metoo last year that it took consolidating the whole history into a documentary to get to this point.

It's pretty remarkable, but I think there are some societal/racial issues at play here. There's been a pretty remarkable amount of rationalization and "they're just out to bring down a strong black man" aspect to this.

Additionally, and this isn't a racial issue, but the reporting on this has been almost exclusively in written form, and at least initially it wasn't in major, mainstream publications. People don't read. It took something on TV for a lot of ppl to actually be confronted with their own bullshit.

Saw the original Scream was on as I flipped through the channel and comfortable admitting my relationship with feminism is complicated enough that "Harvey Weinstein sucks for hundreds of reasons, not the least of which denying us countless more opportunities to ogle Rose McGowan's boobs" is a take I have.

Well, being a sexual predator is different than being an asshole in general. I knew he could be the latter, but I really didn't suspect the former. I'm very disappointed to learn this.

Are they really saying 10/10 cutie pie? Not sure what is worse... I do love "lushes" hair, which is better than Lush's hair, which is often covered in vomit.

Can we really judge until we've seen Becky's "provactive" pictures?

Re: Kevin Spacey's Career?

See, my definition of Becky is directly correlated to dumb white women with "the good hair" because Jay Z cheated on Beyonce with one. And that's shortened to just dumb white women in general like Tomi Lahren or any other replicant from Fox News.

The lord works in mysterious ways.

Bill Cosby's oxygen tank, Ted Kennedy's neckbrace, his walker. Name a more iconic trio.

I'm in! Very curious to see this. I used to listen to Boomer and Carton almost every day. It's the last time I listened to anything on terrestrial radio.

I missed that Brendon had his own legal issues stemming from assaulting his partner.

Ugly stuff from the old Buffy crew. I guess I can deal with Giles becoming a rich, misogynistic twat of a football owner.
