This is a great way to kill seven minutes.
And his one problem is he didn’t go to Russia that night because he had extracurricular activities, and they froze to death.

May we all remember where we were during the "Official" hour.

That was great, Steve. I chuckled at the bubbles teaming up against France after Wooderloo.

Re: Twitter:The New Batch
I’m sure they’ll kill this soon, but if you Twitter search “filter:blue_verified” and a generic word you can see who’s paid for their account. Looks like my only follow that did is Tree House Brewing.
Re: Twitter:The New Batch
Also, there are trolls that just made accounts, paid for the check mark, and are posing as people like Ben Shapiro, OJ, Biden etc. Kinda funny.

I like to think Giff volunteered at Snakes of Katy and something went horribly wrong and they had to rebrand.
Hold on, I'm trying to see if Jack London ever gets this fire built or not.

In retrospect, I should not have put that anaconda in my pants for comparison purposes.

Was driving behind a Tesla with a California plate that said “DOGMEME” this morning (on the Henry Hudson Parkway) and really wanted to know that dude’s (I presume) take on the past week or so.
I felt aswirl with warm secretions.

Just a remarkable moron, especially considering you can also underline the second one for car companies.

Man, remember when Nancy Pelosi endorsed Joe Kennedy over him a couple years back?
What a stupid fucking idea that was.

Patton Oswalt did a bit about how hard it is to write comedy in the age of Trump.

Re: Twitter:The New Batch
find the tweets from about four hours ago - final bleed of anyone there that runs any of the systems that keep it running. Next hiccup won't be anyone to fix it. Basically Musk's "work to the death" ultimatum to employees left has been met with mass quitting apparently.

Re: Twitter:The New Batch
So happy I didn’t apply for a job with Twitter about a year ago. It sounded like a perfect fit for me… Much easier decision not to apply for a similar position at Meta, as I just couldn’t work for Zuckerberg. I don’t think I mentioned it here, but I got pretty far in the interview process with a company founded by Peter Thiel. He isn’t involved anymore, but when their stock dipped and I read that he lost $250 million, I decided that was too close to Thiel for comfort.

Re: Twitter:The New Batch
My wife had an interesting theory; she is convince Musk is intentionally trying to destroy Twitter, we just can't figure out the motivation. Is there some way he benefits by having Twitter gone? That'd be a really amazing story if it comes out, but I think he either lost his mind or is so far removed from reality that he can't see how fucking stupid his actions are.

I've been trying to figure this out too and its either (1) what Ched said, (2) there's some sort of data strip-mine where twitter not existing afterwards changes the legality or something(???) or (3) he's a dumb fuck who took longer than most dumb fucks to be exposed as a dumb fuck.
