Every single team starts out at minimum over $100m in the black each and every season. He’s full of shit.

And that was a PR firm-enabled press-release. The NYT is carrying his water with this nonsense.

Saw that Cincinnati's farm system is rated 5th overall by something called MLB Pipeline. It's also 4th in its division.

I find Alex Cora so irritating that I'm happy that an Astro told him to fuck off.

Getting your first major league HR and RBI as a walkoff HR to beat the defending world champs at home has to be a pretty good feeling. (That would be Parker Meadows for Detroit just now.)

Gunnar Henderson hit a two run jack to give the O's a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the 8th. Fast forward into the 9th, and Felix Bautista is being removed from the game due to 'arm discomfort' on a 1-2 count with two outs.

They're 32 games over .500 (Coulombe came in for the one pitch save), but you wouldn't know it as the crowd walked out of the park tonight.

My son was at the game and he said the same thing. Bautista didn’t even attempt another pitch. Walked off, head down, looking dejected. Can’t be good.

Cubs Twitter has been looking forward to this showdown series for weeks.

So of course Taillon gives up a homer on the first gotdamn pitch.

So Barraclough for the Red Sox has walked four batters, hit two, and has given up a two-run triple in the 6th and they have no one warming up. Verdugo just looked back at the silent bullpen like WTF?!

The Rockies recently traded Grichuk to the Angels for prospects. Now they could get him right back on waivers!

All those guys will get picked up. I get that the Angels were sort of over a barrel re: Ohtani and getting to the postseason, but doing this (releasing mid-career pending FAs in order to catch-on with a team in the pennant race) is viewed as a solid.

Still, it's gotta suck to be an Angels fan. At least they have those sweet City Connect uniforms.

Sloppiest game I've seen the O's play perhaps all season.

Getaway day with a getaway lineup complete with a getaway attitude.

Oh man, AB, you're going to love Bader.

(His slugging this year is a good OBP and he's still a 1 WAR player because he's such an insane CF.)

Its actually "Tots".

Cleveland claims 1/4 of Angels pitching staff to make a run at the central. If this works, everyone is going to lose their minds.

This feels like a bad fantasy football league with collusion. Mike Chernoff could be exec of the year with this move.

I feel like players would constantly clear waivers in that scenario or would always fall to the teams with the lowest priority.

FAAB for real-life leagues or GTFO.
