So torn on this. Thrilled to see him lose and hopefully disappear forever, but I feel like the Dems have a better shot at beating Cawthorn. OTOH, could the Dem beat Cawthorne?

If we're going to improve this country, we can't just spend all of our time demonizing the Right.
You can call a spade a spade as they demonize themselves though.

I really like Fetterman's politics and public persona too, but "that one story" is really, really difficult to explain unless you're explaining to an audience that's motivated to wave it away.

I'd be shocked to see him on Fox, he was taken down by the GOP. I could see him on one of the wingnuttier outlets like OAN. I think he disappears within 6 months.

If it was a dogwhistle, he got it backwards. "Globalists" is synonymous with Jewish, so saying the time for gentile politics is over would be the opposite. Unless he is too dumb to know gentile means not Jewish. So either a dumb typo or a really dumb attempt at anti-Semitic dog whistling.

I'm rooting for Cawthorn in his quest to expose the fake MAGAts. I know there are lots of intelligent GOPers in Congress who hate Trump, or at least know he is a moron and a POS, but pretend to kiss the ring because they are pandering to their base. I've been waiting for 5 or 6 years for something to crack that facade, to force the Lindsay Grahams and Ted Cruz' to say enough is enough and put the country, common sense or decency ahead of their Party, but nothing will get them to budge. I can see a disgruntled Cawthorn working with the True Believers wing of fuckwits to out the fake Patriots. MGT, Boebert and their ilk care more about getting attention and acting like Trump than they care about ruling for the GOP, so maybe they all work to out the GOPers pretending to back Trump. Those asshats will do whatever best serves their need to stay in power, so maybe they run takedown campaigns on other Wingnuts who attack them. I can't imagine it'd be difficult to sabotage Boebert or MGT. I know I'm dreaming up a best case scenario, but how much fun would it be to watch that fight?

California Right To Repair Bill Did In Senate Committee.
The California Senate Appropriations committee failed to pass Sen. Susan Eggman’s (Stockton) Right to Repair bill, SB 983, Thursday, which would have significantly expanded Californians’ access to the parts, tools, and service information needed to fix consumer electronics and appliances.

This was the furthest any Right to Repair bill for consumer electronics has come to becoming law. The policy had broad, bipartisan support, with 75% of Californians and majorities of both parties supporting Right to Repair.
That committee has 5 Democrats and 2 Republicans. Good job, Blue!

To me there's this whole grouping and traitor thing going on on the Dems side. Like the whole you ain't black if you don't vote democrat. Or Adele lost 100 pounds so now she's a proponent of body image. She should have been proud to be fat. You're a traitor on this one issue so you're a traitor period.

So the Dems no longer court these people, it's supposed to be automatic. Everyone rows in the same direction.
