Yet I'm not sure pissing on the center is a winning strategy either. The right wing having these massive propaganda networks at their disposal constantly backs the left into defense.

Re: Random Politics
I can guarantee the party is not going to despise me or curse me out (or likely any particular individual) if I sit out the election this fall. If he's making a salient point, why does he need to fabricate a scenario as his 'proof'?
Re: Random Politics
Like you personally? I'm sure no. But as part of a group, like the "Bernie Bros" who got shit for supposedly sitting out (despite Bernie campaigning for both Clinton and Biden)? Like I've personally heard that shit from more center friends despite the fact that I've never sat out and never voted 3rd party.

I've heard mass shootings are caused by metal, rap, drugs, alcohol, absentee fathers, turning away from school prayer and religion, gun control activists and many others.
This is a first.

So MJT wants to support forgotten areas and lift up the poor? That’s fantastic, can’t wait to see he proposals for providing social welfare for poor areas, especially predominantly minority areas.

Ohio used to be a swing state, eh?
Ohio House Republicans vote to put Canada on a federal watch list
The Ohio House passed a resolution (House Resolution 194) late Wednesday night that urges the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom to add Canada to a religious freedom watch list.
Republican Rep. Tim Ginter (R-Salem) backed the resolution for the way Canada handled lockdowns of churches and actions it took against religious leaders during the pandemic.

Re: Random Politics
Can we find some Republicans who signed the Bill who have daughters and challenge their gender? I'm normally not down with forced assault on children, but this is necessary for the good of society. It's like that Bill they passed in... (Tennessee?) mandating public funding for religious schools. They were shocked and outraged when a Muslim school applied for funding. They were shocked! They were so focused on getting public funds for THEIR religion, they forgot other religions existed. They immediately rescinded the Bill rather than give money to OTHER religions' schools.mister d wrote: ↑Tue Jun 07, 2022 3:48 pm Its a calculated decision by people who don't care, people who forever leverage the knowledge the left rarely risks third party harm* to prove a political point and fucking perverts.

This article may contain some hyperbole, but it lays out a case that needs to be read by the people who believe both parties are the same, or have disdain for being told to vote blue all the time.

Re: Random Politics
And of course...
Let me guess..."looked at the data" means he listened to a Joe Rogan podcast episode.“I chose very clearly that I was not going to get the shot,” said Mr. Giuliani, 36, in an impromptu news conference on Sunday outside CBS headquarters in Manhattan, saying he had “looked at the data” on the vaccination and decided against it.

Re: Random Politics
Never forget that he filed a lawsuit after getting kicked off the Duke golf team.
Forced Off Duke’s Varsity Golf Team, Giuliani’s Son Files a Lawsuit
On Wednesday, the younger Mr. Giuliani filed a lawsuit in federal court in Durham, N.C. It accuses the university of bad faith by aggressively recruiting him to play golf for Duke and then dashing his dreams by taking steps to remove him from the team.
In the suit, Andrew Giuliani is asking for damages and for the right to use Duke’s golf center for the rest of his life, as he said he was promised when he was recruited to play for the school.
In the lawsuit, he acknowledged that he may have misbehaved in February when he tossed an apple in a teammate’s face, flipped his putter a few feet, threw and broke a club and gunned his engine in a parking lot.

I thought it was warranted at the time, too. I didn't remember this clip. Kind of funny they got two out of Andrew.

Re: Random Politics
Well, it'll be fun to watch if that story pans out. I really like how the guy framed the story, being careful not to slut shame her if she did work as an escort and not to attack her if she did have an abortion, but to attack her for her hypocrisy. She argues that women who have abortions should be convicted of murder, so she isn't subtle here. The story broke from the same group that went after Cawthorne, so I am cautiously optimistic.
