It seems like half of the images in this thread I can't see at work. Are you guys hot linking from social networking sites? Those are all fire-walled.

My company has the oddest workplace internet rules. I can see all of the social media sites, but the other half of the images are blocked here. Our internet policy specifically says that we can use Facebook, Twitter and other social media sites, as long as it doesn't interfere with getting work done. Whenever a site comes back as having blocked content, we have the option of going to the site and using it against our 90 minutes of time on blocked sites. No idea how long a period the 90 minutes is. Probably a week or a month. The only category I have figured out is explicitly banned is music websites. Spotify, podcasts, grooveshark... all blocked. The CEO is way into social media and tries to keep the company with a DotCom vibe, despite having 2000 employees.

Speaking of Craigslist ads, here's one I saw the other day. I can't verify if this is legit though (can you search a post id?), but I wouldn't doubt it seeing as it's posted from near a military base. Fayette-Nam FTW!

Naw, way too far North of Westchester. My first thought was Albany, but it actually could be pretty close to Lake Placid.

It's sort of level with MA. I was going to say Albany at first, then thought further south, and well wasn't going to please Mr. D and say Poughkeepsie.

I get a kick out of how lazy the Salt Lake one is. Just a shot of the flag, with no effort to actually compose it well. And, just in case you couldn't read "Salt Lake 2002" clear enough on the flag, they repeat it for you underneath, this time... bolder.

But the profit margin of the Salt Lake poster was greater than all the others combined!

So is "Hot. Cool. Yours." the result of a flawed Google Translate, or was it re-purposed from a 90's soda ad?

Man caught masturbating on train in Wales. Totally doing wrong. If you are going to jerk off on a train, you have to stare at someone, looking them directly in the eyes with a determined intensity. Being in Wales, this guy was probably thinking about sheep, anyways.

This is the map that Facebook.com compiled in 2013 using information on its users' declarations of the "favorite NFL team" in their profiles. The Browns have seen the Steelers and Bengals win over the fandom in much of Ohio.

What's with that pocket of Raiders fans in central Florida? Is there a big prison there or something?

Lol. I like the sporadic Steelers fan counties scatter throughout the country. What accounts for that, dominance in the 1970s? Pittsburgh natives fleeing to specific counties because of jobs? I'd like to see a magnified version, but it looks like there isn't a single Jets predominant fan base anywhere. Wait, I as wrote that I thought maybe Long Island would, and sure enough, there seems to be a sliver of Jets fandom, looks like Queens. Makes sense, since the Jets used to play at Shea, in beautiful Flushing Meadows, Queens. And Alaska seems to be mostly Packer fans? Cowboys still seem to be America's team. And what is the grey rectangle between San Fran and San Diego? Or the white boxes around the country, which i assume means no dominant fan base. Love this map.

As anyone who has read or seen the movie of The Grapes of Wrath knows, Bakersfield farm country is where the Okies went. It's still like it's Oklahoma, there. Hence, the Cowboy love.
