Yeah, it's getting a little old, all this praising of these Republicans for, you know, not violating their oath of office and engaging in criminal, anti-American activity.
But those poll workers? Fucking bullshit.
I hate people.

They could do a great Trump remake of that with him ignoring all advisors telling him he lost the election and all his schemes were illegal. Song is perfect, too.

Not for nothing, but a judge just threw out Fox's attempt to halt the defamation suit filed by Dominion.
$1.6 billion dollar claim.
There are also suits still moving through the process against News Max and OAN.
I'm pretty sure these are going to get settled, but perhaps being bitch slapped with 100s of millions of dollars might have an impact on these POS companies.

I'm sorry, but if you want to swim in Lake Schadenfreude, today is just chef's kiss delicious.
They are trotting out all of these baboon pro-Trump sycophant Congressfolks, using clips from their stump speeches, and it's fucking amazing.
Man, I still have an hour left in my Day 4 viewing. Watching at double speed on Youtube has been a huge help, especially trying to sit through Judge Luttig. Even at 2x, he was tough to sit through.

Anybody else wondering if the timing of the Roe/Wade decision, the guns decision, and the prayer decision, might all be related to a "wag the dog" desire to obscure and distract from what is going on re the Jan 6 hearings?

Don't know, the Roe decision has probably been in the works for awhile. Memo was leaked months ago and probably worked on months before that. Probably the day Coney-Barrett was nominated, they worked on it. The gun thing is because of Uvalde. And the prayer law is a case right? the football coach?
Kung Fu movies are like porn. There's 1 on 1, then 2 on 1, then a group scene..

No, the Supreme Court has a pre-set schedule. They usually dump their Opinions on controversial topics at the end of the session, which is typical late June. Then they are on hiatus until October, when they resume hearing arguments in new cases. I think if these decisions came out just about any week in the past 5 years you could argue they were trying to distract from a Trump/GOP scandal.

Supreme Court's recent gun decision was overturning a New York State law requiring a proof of special circumstances to obtain a concealed carry permit and had nothing to do with Uvalde. The Court heard the arguments in November.
