The first time I remember seeing her was in the fairly average The Whole Nine Yards with Chandler Bing and Bruce Willis. She was a bright spot, and not just because she's cute. Woman can act.

When this board was younger, I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this topic... Girls that seem approachable are attractive to guys for obvious reasons.

I loved that movie so much when it came out. I'm sure it's not as funny to me now, but sometimes you see a mediocre movie at the right time and it becomes a favorite.

Yeah, I remember really liking it and when I went today to look that aspect up, I was surprised how poorly it was reviewed. I was like, really??

It’s a good enough movie. Nothing wrong with a fun three-star movie that doesn’t try to be something it’s not.

We finished The Pitt over the weekend (almost caught up before it ended).

Final (really?) season of Bosch:Legacy is solid, but not spectacular. If you liked the show, you should see it to the finish.

In the middle of Guy Ritchie's Mobland, which feels mid, given the cast and premise. But I'm still watching.

Also, starting season 2 of Severance. Which I like to spread out for some reason.

Your Friends and Neighbors

Loved Reacher season 1 and looking forward to catching up on later seasons. Enjoyed, but didn't love this year's White Lotus. It's fine, and if you don't get too amped up waiting to see what happens in the finale, it won't disappoint you much. Been meaning to start Residence and Paradise. I couldn't love Shoresy more, but it wasn't my wife's cup of tea. Guy Ritchie's The Gentleman series was fun. I hear the movie wasn't as good.

I hear good things about The Studio. Shrinking has unbelievable parts but is funny and warm.

The Studio looks good. Shoresy was not on my radar. These two, along with Friends & Neighbors, are on my list.

Mixed reviews, at best. I will watch S2, but it has the potential to go the way of Yellowstone and devolve into increasingly ridiculous, over-acted plot lines.

Sheridan's overall depiction of women is pretty problematic.

As mentioned earlier in this thread, the marching band scene was just fantastic. Awkward, bizarre, awesome, and hilarious, all at once. Milchick is an incredible character (and pretty fantastic dancer).

Just finished The Pitt, and man does this take look quaint. I actually forgot about most of the shit that happened in the first 5 or 6 episodes as I read back through the thread. Even the deeply personal story line I wrote about above. Seems like it was from a completely different show after the last 4 episodes. Even before the last 4 episodes, they saw 100 episodes of ER worth of shit in 11 episodes.

That said, the show sure drew you in, and I liked how it was a completely different style of character development. I can't explain it, but it felt more natural than the way most shows wedge it in.

Episode 12, when the shooting happened was crazy and exciting. The next two episodes I was getting bored of it and it was way too much, but the last episode kind of winding down the chaos and the characters' story lines, I liked it all again. And I got a laugh in the last scene when Javadi took a beer and somebody said, "oh my god, today was your first shift!"

From the ads I've seen during the NBA playoffs, HBO is really hyping the hell out of the Paul Family reality show.

Is there really a market to watch that garbage family?

There is a lot of programming on streamers that has a considerable audience that many people will look down on.

It's a pretty good sandwich, but I'm not sure I'd say that if it weren't for the excellent meat and outstanding bread.

Anyone watch Dope Thief? Watched the first two episodes last night, and surprised I never heard anything about it. Pulls you in quick! Seems like it could be a great story... or peter out or just be too much, hoping they pull it off.
