They've been the Dodgers in LA a lot longer than they were in Brooklyn. Assuming they're the same franchise (I'm a little lit to investigate), they had like a half dozen names while in Brooklyn before they were named the Dodgers.

Your math is way off. The franchise passed that milestone 30 years ago.

Right, they didn’t use the Dodgers name until 1911, and there was still overlap with the Robins name until 1931. But according to B-R, the franchise played in Brooklyn from 1884-1957.

No...It was Deep Purple’s “My Woman from Tokyo.”

If only there were other services for playing music out there :)

But yeah...I have found that spotify's algorithm is the best for vareity but staying on brand. My issue is the UI does not work with my very eclectic taste on music. Pandora is okay but if you start to up vote or down vote you get lots of repetition.

Yeah, I know. But I’m at my limit for streaming services (wife and I have a pact where something needs to be closed before we open another account). And my house is Apple. Apple Music is too convenient to not be the core streaming service (CarPlay, too).

I’d love to get rid of Amazon Prime, but we buy from Amazon something like 50x a year.

I switched my work phone and was given a Samsung S20! It has no headphone jack! Now I have to buy wireless headphones! I've never had them. I use $2 headphones.

I see teenagers wearing Airpods. That also makes me feel old.

I/we just got our first set/s of wireless (kindergarten) noise cancelling headphones. I'd had the same Bose wired in-ear ones for well over a decade and would just buy new ones every four years or so when they wore out.

I still need wired as a backup. I don't use headphones often enough to keep them charged and I'd much rather keep a pair of cheap wired headphones in the car or a backpack. I bought these a few months ago to use with my apple watch when dog walking. They work fine.

I have to remember to charge my phone AND my headphones? And remember carry a backup? That's a lot of work

I love my low cost Anker Wireless headphones. They fit great, they have that cool waterproofing so I can't destroy them exercising. Long battery life and the case charger thing has long battery life. Have had more expensive ones that were recommended by USA triathalon...garbage. These Ankers are the best. I keep an USB C set of headphones in my bag (so I don't need the adapter to the standard headphone connection).

Anker makes good stuff. I rely on them for batteries and cords.

Love my wireless beats that came with my computer.

But the cover on the foam is coming off in many places. Any way to fix this?

(I feel old even asking...)
