The red card? That was legit.

ETA: and right as I hit submit, Kane buries it.

I'm just gonna say that Holdings is a bad name for a defender in any sport.

He could have got a yellow in the 3rd minute. His next holding foul got him a warning. Then a yellow card foul and then the forearm shot.

What a bonehead.

Honest to God, I hope they only win one more game in their existence - and that is this Monday.

Look, we've all made mistakes and you just want to learn from those mistakes and how you can correct them going forward.

Yes. He finishes there. He may not play in that game, but he's still at Dortmund until the season is over.
Haaland played and scored a goal in his final match with Dortmund today.

Hated losing that FA Cup final yesterday. Both teams had multiple good chances to score but just couldn't put the ball in the net. Crazy that Chelsea and Liverpool have now played 4 times this season and ended in a tie all 4 times. The two penalty results were 11-10 and 7-6.

Thing is, Pope in the Burnley goal made two unbelievable saves and a bunch of great ones. Spurs owned that game from start to finish.

Lots of missed chances on both sides.

Indeed. Pulisic played mostly great for Chelsea, clearly their most dangerous player, but he couldn't quite finish. Nobody on either team could finish on Saturday.

It is astounding just how bad this Arsenal team has played in the last couple of games.

They were never close to scoring today and it was desperation time.

How delightful!

No doubt. Callum Wilson was an absolute terror in the opening 30 minutes. Arsenal couldn’t even hope to contain him. Or Saint-Maximin. Bad move not starting Martinelli. He has been so dangerous, and the only player who asked questions of the defense. (I love that phrase)

It'll be a hilarious movie...

Vardy's Wife Is a Nasty Piece of Work
As part of the continuing “Wagatha Christie” libel trial, the footballer’s wife said she sent the information on Drinkwater’s night in the cells to her agent Caroline Watt, along with a WhatsApp message that said: “I want paying for this x.”

One of many thoughts I had when I read that story.

UPDATE!!!!

Vardys leave court ‘over illness’ as Wayne Rooney testifies
Earlier today, Wayne Rooney said he asked teammate Jamie Vardy to get his wife to “calm down” during Euro 2016 at the request of the England manager.

I read up on the activities in that court case. Funniest thing is that Ms. Vardy is suing for defamation, yet everything she says seems only to further lower the level of esteem she’s held in. She comes across as a narcissistic, addle-brained self-promoter who isn’t really very good at it.
