Wow Epic is getting out east already? I love their tap room.
Have a soft spot for Avery as well, they gave me a bottle of the Beast the night my son was born, for his 21st.
How's the Citra Monster? New place in Denver called Comrade Brewing evidently has the best DIPA in CO, haven't had a chance to see how it compares to Marahaja or Deviant Dales.
When I get back to America I'm going to be the biggest beer snob ever. This is inevitable.
There are currently pallets of Yeungling everywhere on base going untouched. I would have shanked people for that beer if it were ever in Arizona. Here I just look for anything local and choose that over it.

Epic has been in NJ for a while now, maybe 3 years.

Citra is solid. A bit more piney and less fruity than I expected, initially.

Crazy we just got it 2 years ago or so. They built a brewery here, so that they can brew higher ABV beers. Funny how so many breweries stay out of Colorado. There is lots of competition sure, but also many thirsty people. Have to have an A game to distribute. I've heard that Founders is coming into CO, but not distributing in Denver..though that may have changed with the new influx of cash.
Founders should do a deal with the producers of Fat Tire. I see their trucks in Michigan routinely now. Perhaps they run one set of trucks, filled in both directions with either a MI or CO load of beer.
