Towson is always a tough out. But they are always an out. Good game Ljam.

Nope, all good. I did something stupid when I did a quick glance.

For the record, cab driver is the tenth in terms of fatalities per 100,000 on a couple of lists I just checked. I had just heard someone say cab driver is one of the most dangerous jobs on a podcast and thought WTF.

Fucking OSHA...

What a performance from Mister D, can that carry on to round 2 and end up punching their ticket to Plattsburgh? Or will the Cinderella story continue for Rass?

Number one overall seed Ryan played well but faced an unexpectedly strong performance from Jerloma. Will Ryan brush it off or will the team begin to doubt themselves against the emotional high that LJam is riding?

We have another 6 vs 7 in the Swampass Region, as Citgo and Cerrano face off for the rights to head to the Bobby Pentz Gay Steel Mill in Muscle Shoals.

BSF is the lone upset in the Antifa Region as he faces Bronto with a trip to the Salton Sea on the line.

And finally, in the Coal Region, the chalk held but that hold was tenuous. AB struggled and gutted one out against hard-charging Nonlinear (for now, pending protest/challenge). He faces off against Duff, who had the best performance in the entire bracket during the first round and who doesn't plan on letting AB waltz on in to Flint without facing a challenge.

Send me some of those lists and I'll check them out. If they are being counted with delivery drivers that may change things.

Upon closer review of some of the sites I'm looking at, the play on the court stands. Delivery driver/truckers are separate from taxi drivers in these lists and cab driver deaths have dropped over the last few years. Probably due to pandemicking.

https://www.bls.gov/opub/ted/2020/work- ... n-2018.htm

In 2012 it was ranked tenth in deaths per 1,000 but given that it has fallen quite a bit since then I think it's probably out of the top 10. It's also technically "most dangerous" which is admittedly vague but gives some more leeway to the NCAA.

I answered "tokyo" because I thought it was so obvious no one else would take it.

Turns out that Uranus was the big one.

Oh, I wasn't even really protesting that one, just giving my rationale. Went to look it up out of curiosity, cause it was plucked out of my keister.

Great game. Looking forward to facing the (assumed) top overall seed.
My avatar corresponds on my place in the Swamp posting list with the all-time Home Run list. Number 45 is Paul Konerko with 439.

There is a dark art in determining between what are Tokyo-type answers and what are Earth/Lisa Leslie/Uranus types. Jordans and Pippens.

Even got to empty the bench for the final question. Based on the email reply I thought I got the death penalty question wrong and assumed that would ruin my chances.

Ugh...brutal! That's what champions do I guess. Nice game, buddy. You know what they say about teams that survive those first round scares.

Although if any of you would like to make the argument, I'm open to it.

You almost did, I meant to respond but responses were flying in fast and furious at that point. Almost too fast, and too furious.
